Show Kanarraville seeks assistance SALT LAKE CITY Kanarraville has applied to the Utah Boad of Water Resources for $180,000 to help pay for a new water system in the town. The total project, estimated to cost $240,500, involves the installation of a pump, transmission and distribution pipelines, fire hydrants and water meters. Town officials indicate the present water system was installed in 1934, and distribution pipelines don't meet current health standards. A feasibility study of the proposed project will be made by the Division of Water Resources of the Utah Department of Natural Resources and Energy before the Board makes a decision on the application. |
