Show Arizona man dies in accident CEDAR CITY An Arizona man died in a one-car accident on State Road 14 up Cedar City canyon at the horseshoe turn June lo. According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the accident occured at about 9:30 p.m. when a car being driven by Frank Yazzie, 52, Page, Ariz., went over the cliff at the horseshoe turn and rolled approximately four times. The only fatality in the incident was Peter Zilt, 49, Kiebato, Ariz. Yazzie and his wife, Mary, 48, were in critical condition following the accident and taken to the Valley View Medical Center for treatment. Yazzie's son, Jimmy, was also taken to the VVMC with a broken arm, cuts and bruises. The Yazzies were reported to be in stable condition and were released to a hospital in Tuba City. Ariz., the following morning. Investigating officer for the highway patrol was trooper Larry Orton. |
