In the first game Kurt Roundy went the distance for Coleman, backed up with doubles hit by Bobby Renfort, Brian Dunaway and Bart Ingram. Roundy also doubled. Bart Lambert and DeLynn Corry shared the mound for Realty World, and Mike Dedrick doubled. Realty World's victory came with Corry and Jason Batiste on the mound. Both pitchers and Chris Dedrick nabbed two baggers. Lance. Taylor went the distance for Coleman. Kiwansis picked up two wins as they defeated Spillsbury 16-8 and then edged by them 7-6. In the first game Jason Slack threw and doubled for the winners, while Scott Garrett and Glenn Bauer shared the mound for Spillsbury. Bauer and and Eric Garrett hit two baser. In the second game, Troy Mckinnon went the distance for Spillsbury, and Wes Heap did the same lor the winners. Eric Garrett doubled for Spillsbury. Rotary's two big wins came at the expense of Boyer's. Their 36-5 win was led by homeruas hit by Travis Blake and Tracey Palmer and backed up by doubles slugged out by Lee Roundy, Stacey Palmer, Michael Weaver and Keith Harris. Their 21-6 victory was helped out by a homerun and double hammered out by Stacey Palmer and two baggers by Tracey Palmer, Wendy Weaver and Brett Forsyth. It was 7-Up in the winner's seat as they .retaliated against 7 Eleven with an 8-6 win. Brian Green was the winning pitcher and also double. Jeremy Williams went the distance lor 7 Eleven and Sam CEDAR CITY- Ken Bettridge's undefeated status remained unchanged un-changed as the team finished the first half of the season and started the second with two wins over Carter Brothers. The 20-12 score was led by a homerun and double by Robbje Knight and doubles by Brett Barton and Stanley Slack. R. Knight, Scott McKnight, Danny Knight, Stanley Slack and Barton all took a turn on the mound. Derek Giles and J.R. Shakespeare threw for Carter Brothers, and Matt Leavitt doubled for them. Their 17-4 victory came with Barton, D. Knight and Clay Tom on the mound. Barton and S. Slack doubled. Giles and Shakespeare again threw for Carter Brothers. Coleman and Realty World each took a turn in the victory seat as Coleman picked up an 8-1 win early in the week and then Realty World came back later on in the week Todd Boyer winds up for the throw against Rotary in Cedar City American Little League baseball action last week. Although Boyer was strong on the mound, it wasn't enough as Rotary edged the Boyer's ball team. Little League action just finished the halfway mark in Cedar City. |
