Show Contest nominations open Nominations for the "Distinguished Woman of 1981" are being solicited by the Women's Resource Center at the University of Utah. The award, which has become a tradition at the Center's annual women's conference, honors a Utah woman whose efforts ef-forts have advanced the lot of Utah women either through directly benefiting them or through providing Utah women with a role mode. The Distinguished Woman Award will be presented during the conference, which will be Oct. 21-24. This year the conference is entitled, "Ten Years: A Celebration of Women." The Women's Resource Center is celebrating their ten year anniversary, an-niversary, and much of the conference deals with looking at what women have done over the past ten years and celebrating the contributions and some of the choices women have made. |
