Show Former resident named as liaison SALT LAKE CITY -Jim Butler, formerly of Beryl, was recently appointed by Governor Scott Matheson as the governor's a d -ministrative assistant for policy coordination. Butler will function as i liaison with the governor's gover-nor's three policy cabinets: the Regulatory Cabinet, the Human Services Cabinet and the Economic and Physical Development Cabinet. He will also coordinate policy issues with State and Federal agencies, public interest groups and organizations such as the National Governors Association and the Western Governors Policy Office. He has served since October 1979 as the r assistant State planning coordinator for natural resources and was previously the energy facility siting coordinator for the Utah Energy Office. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics |
