Show Wheeler vies for title I mm ! i 'i'i-im"Tr"'i-rirTrnimwivi--i im im r . .j Ellen Jayne Wheeler, Miss Iron County 1981, is competing in the Miss Utah Pageant at Mountain View High School, Orem, this week. The winner of this contest will represent the State at the Miss America Pageant in Atlanta City this fall. "Music and the Mirror" a showstopper l'rom "A Chorus Line" is Wheeler's choice lor her talent number, demanding, as it does, singing, dancing, and dramatic interpretation. Her music was recorded by Mel, Dangzil and Dick Hamilton of Los Angeles and re-recorded at the KBRS studios locally. Wheeler, a five-foot-nine blue-eyed blonde, has resided in Cedar City lor ten years, graduating valedictorian with (he class of I'.)?1.). She is nineteen cars old, daughter ol Jay and Charlotte Wheeler. v Active in drama, music, and dance, Kllen has studied at BYT. M'S'. ind provisionally in I. as Vegas and Los Kllen heeler . . . to compete for Miss Utah I Angeles. This winter she pursued dance and vocal training, and, in addition, completed a modeling course at the Lcnz Agency in Las Vegas, she has been selected to i ('present Lenz in the national modeling competion in New York City in July in the following categories: Photography, ramp, high fashion, make up and . video commercials. |
