Show Gilbert Hyatt brothers and one sister: Herbert Smith, Chester B. and Mrs. Charles tNellie) Bentley, all of Parowan. Funeral services were held Monday at 1 p.m. in the Parowan LDS Second Ward Chapel. Acting as pallbearers for the funeral were grandsons B. Glen, Kerry D., Alan H.; and Bishop Curtis H. Crawford; Erik Don and Brent M. Hyatt. ' The family prayer was offered by Glen Crawford. Prelude and postlude music were rendered by Irene M. Hyatt, and Bishop Glen llaltermun officiated. The invocation in-vocation was given by Alan II. Crawford and a eulogy was given by a granddaughter, Gail G. Bunker. Donna II. Jones and Aliene II. Overly sang a duet, accompanied by Irene M. Hyatt. Another grandson. Dr. M. Leon Hyatt, was the speaker, with Bishop Ha Herman offering remarks. The U-nediction was given by Bishop Crawford. Interment was at the Parowan City Cemetary, where Dr. Ivan D. Hyatt dedicated the grave. DR. GILBERT DELOS HYATT, 91, died Dec. 24 in the Dixie Medical Center of natural causes. He was born July 26, 1889, in Parowan to Herbert Smith and Lucy Gunn Hyatt. He married Mary LaVerna Holt on Oct. 6, 1915, in St. George. The marriage was then solomnized in the St. George Temple May 16, 1916. She died November 22, 1965. A member of the LDS Church, he served in various capacities including in-cluding three stake missions. He taught school in central Utah and was a dentist by 1 profession. He practiced 3 dentistry in Parowan, St. " George and Monroe lor 45 ' years. Survivors include three 1 sons and three daughters: Dr. Ivan D. of San Marcos; Calif.; 1 Milton H., Cedar City; Elson D., St. George; Mrs. Daniel (Helen) Crawford, Honolulu, ! Hawaii; Mrs. Reva Snow, ? St. George; and Mrs. t Victor i La Wana) Jones, f Salt Lake City. Also surviving are 20 grand- children' and 50 great-I great-I grandchildren. He is also survived by two |
