Show Leslie Hahne, 69 Active Church Worker dies; Honored at Services Leslie Louis Hahne, 69, v died March 13, 1980 in a Cedar City Hospital. Born April 18, 1910 in Chicago, Illinois to Edward F. and Meta Corman Hahne. Married Marian Sherratt June 2, 1937 in Parowan, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple. Leslie was an active member of - the LDS Church and was retired foreman for U.S. Steel. He is survived by his wife Marian of Cedar City, 2 sons Robert E, of Orem and Louis R. of Clinton, Ut. Also surviving are nine - grandchildren grand-children and a brother Edward H. Hahne of Cedar City. Funeral services were held Monday, March 17, 1980 at 11 a.m. in the Cedar 14th Ward Chapel with Bernus Reber officiating. The family prayer was offered by Louis Hahne with Mignon Hatch playing the prelude, postlude music and Joseph Bettridge gave the invocation. in-vocation. Musical selections consisted of a solo by Ann Frehner "Love One Another" acc. by Evelyn Jones. The speakers were Rulan Woodbury and Kent Stapley with remarks by Bishop Charles Esplin. The benediction was offered by Lloyd Crawford and Bob Hahne dedicated the grave. Interment was in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direciton of the Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary. |
