Because the low bid was more than ten percent over the engineer's estimate the UDOT will review the project to determine whether the bid should be accepted or readvertised. The three mile project runs between the 1-15 interchanges in-terchanges on the north and south ends of town, and includes in-cludes the downtown section. Work will include excavating exca-vating the downtown section, then laying eight inches of untreated base course and seven inches of bituminous surface course. Sections outside of downtown will receive re-ceive two and one half inches of bituminous surface course over the existing roadway. |
