Cecil and Jo Klllam went to Salt Lake to visit children, chil-dren, Kathy and Con Hintze and family, Doug and JoAnn Killam and family, and John and Margaret Killam and family. They stopped by Jo's brother's, Eldon Thomas, in Orem on the way home. Kevin and Kaye Lynn Og-den Og-den hosted her mother's family, fam-ily, Don and Ann Gale and children, Janet, Jeff and Linda, Lin-da, of Bountiful, while they visited grandfather Lawrence Powell, of Beaver, who is In the Milford hospital. Christmas dinner guests at the home of Ben and Vera Cooper were: Shiela and Ron Brlnkman, Debbie and Scott, Clark and Caroline Dalton, Gina, Nanette and Shaun, all of Milford, John and Anna Rae Roberts, Travis and Matt of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thompson, Tom and Julie Thompson, Mrs. Flossie Rickerson, and Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Brlnkman, all of Milford. John, Anna and sons arrived Christmas day in time for dinner and spent the week with her parents. par-ents. They also visited John's parents, Stan and Adrienne Roberts of SouthMilford, and his brother, NeilRoberts and family in St. George. Mr. andMrs.EarlThomp-son andMrs.EarlThomp-son and their son, Val, and wife, Dorothy, of Minersville, Miners-ville, drove to Mesa, Arizona, Ari-zona, for the temple wedding of their great-grandson, Bob Christensen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Christensen of Montana. The couple are going go-ing to school at BYU. The bride's parents are living In Mesa. Also attending the wedding were their grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. andMrs.Doug- las Blackburn, from Minersville, Miners-ville, and other relatives.J' Author Jack London's home town of Glen Ellen, California, was where Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Brown and their children, Jaime and Bruce, Jr., went over the holiday. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Orchard, Or-chard, grandmother Geri Gadt, aunt Vivian Grant,' and cousin Ed Grant. They also visited Bruce's grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. andMrs. Harry Tucker in Novato, Calif. The Roy Myers enjoyed a houseful over Christmas: Roger and Janice Myers and their three children of Gran -ger, Christine and Boyd Ap-plegate Ap-plegate and their two girls from Riverton, Mary and Merrill Staheli and three children of Logandale, and Milfordites Linda and Neil Bradshaw and family joined them for Christmas dinner. The whole gang went caroling carol-ing to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Myers. Mr. G. ,T. Weir spent the holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hayes in Salt Lake and their daughter, Linda, and Mrs. and Mrs. Gary Smith. He also visited Mr. and Mrs. Don Gale and family fam-ily in Bountiful, and Altheda Gale, who is doing well after af-ter her recent hip operation. Joining Mr. and Mrs. Les Williams for Christmas were their daughter, Linda, and her husband Clark Son -zini and their children, Yvonne, Denise, and Rodney, all of Farmington, and Donna and Alden Hardy of Granger' Usher and Helen "Wilcock flew to Katy, Texas, to see their daughter's family, Mr. and Mrs. Joe (Brenda) Dun-lap Dun-lap and two boys. They did a little sightseeing and a lot of visiting during the two week vacation. Both coming and going they visited daughter daugh-ter Sandra and Danny James and family of t)ays-ville, t)ays-ville, and daughter, Diane and James Cox and family of Sandy. Last Friday they attended at-tended the wedding of their nephew, Tracy ' Green, in Beaver. Linda and Woody Adding-ton Adding-ton and baby, Daniel, returned return-ed from a vacation with Linda's folks, Russell and Jackie Muir, and brothers, Gordon, Rodney and Brian, in Denver, Colo., by way of Mesa, Arizona where they all attended cousin, Bob Christensen's wedding. They all joined Doug and Elma Blackburn in Minersville Saturday for a New Year's Eve party. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Baudino went to Cedar to spend Christ -mas with Karen, and Ray Niel-son Niel-son and children,' Deborah and'Curtis; 'who returned the"' visit on New Year's Day. The Baudino's grandson, Danny Craw, also visited them all the way from New London, Connecticut, where he is stationed with the Navy. Also on leave from the Navy was Richard Edwards, who came from San Diego to be with his mother, Beth Ed -wards, of Milford. Beth's other sons, Robert and his wife, JoAnne, and Brian, traveled from Provo to be reunited with the family. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Patterson Pat-terson had dinner on Christmas Christ-mas with Ed and Barbara Patterson and family, and then on New Year's, Barbara and Ed joined them at their home for dinner. LastMon- day, Ross and Velma were the guests of Mr. Joe Trib-ole Trib-ole in Beaver for dinner. Lovell and Maudell Crane joined Ilene and Bob Rollins and their children, Jeffrey, Marie, and Julie Ann, in Bountiful for several days. While there they went to dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Christensen and Bess Burt in Salt Lake City. Family drew the Clyde Griffiths to Layton to see daughter, Elaine and Bill Schenck, and their four girls, and to Nephi to see son, Russell Rus-sell and Arlene Griffiths and family. Mr. and Mrs. Don Heath's daughter, Pearlene, flew down from Homedale, Idaho, to see her brothers in the Christmas program and to visit over the holiday. Justine Jus-tine drove her back last Wednesday Wed-nesday and returned home with Mr. and Mrs. Chester Heath, who are visiting their father, Roy Heath, from North Bend, Washington. The Marion Walkers spent Christmas Eve with sons, Tom and Richard, and their families in Cedar, and then, joined son, Mike, and family in Kanab on Christmas Christ-mas day. - Mr. and. Mrs. Dick Banks hosted son) Richard, and fam -ily of Logan, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Alger and family of Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Banks and family of Hayward, Calif., and daughter, daugh-ter, Delores and her new husband, Bill Bilbur, of Soda Springs, Idaho. Rulon Hardy's oldest son, David, was a recent guest in their home from Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Daly and children, Mark, Michael, Jennifer, Jill and Travis, from Troutdale, Oregon, spent the Christmas holidays with Judy's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baxter. Mrs. Bruce Fotheringham, sister-in-law to the Baxters spent one afternoon with them from Cedar. Mr. Jack Fotheringham Fothering-ham of Springdale, and his newlywed daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Willstead and their daughter, Jennifer, (they will make their new home in San Antonio, An-tonio, Texas) had dinner with Harold and Vvs. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bellis-ton Bellis-ton traveled to Salt Lake to be with son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Denny Bellistion and family, and were joined by daughter, Sammie Lu, who flew in from San Francisco. For a New Year's dinner, they had sister sis-ter and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Miller, of Delta, niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Payne, and their daughter, Mr. andMrs. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Pettey enjoyed a visit from their daughter and son-in-law, Le-anne Le-anne and Mike Stanfill, of Salt Lake City. We Madsens went to soggy California for Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Johns and since our return, have had my brother, Bob Johns and Blake's mother, Mrs. Ellis Madsen, for a visit. Calling at Billie and Glenn Osbornes during the month of Dec. were: Aleeda Dear -den of Burbank, Darlene Whitlock of Baker, LaRue Rowley and three grandchil- . dren, Lynette, Fran and Rett. LaRue spent the night with them. She and Billie drove to St. George and went threw the temple for several sessions. ses-sions. Delbert Young spent the night with the Osbornes. He was here in Milford on business. busi-ness. His wife was in the Delta hospital but was im -proving. Billie and Glenn Osborne spent the Christmas holidays with daughter, Barbara and Frank Jones, and family of Springville. Mrs. Caroline Hatch spent the Christmas holiday visiting visit-ing her daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Dayne Shum-way Shum-way and their children, Eva Dawn and the newest addition addi-tion to the Shumway family, a son, Travis. Home to celebrate New Years with Caroline were the rest of the family; Lynn and Charlotte Char-lotte Hatch and children, Price Utah, Robert and Rita Dean and children, Beaver, Lyle and Ruby Hatch, Bakersfield, Calif, and Ralph and Jo Ellen Thurman and son, Milford. Jeannette Kohler spent six days in Salt Lake City with Mr. and Mrs. James (Made-lyn) (Made-lyn) Mash. While there she was joined by her son's fam -ily, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Kohler Koh-ler and three children, of Po -way, Calif. Following a skiing ski-ing trip they spent New Years Eve with Jeannette in Milford. Mil-ford. Mr. andMrs. George Rowley Row-ley of Fillmore visited with Dora and Jim Smithson at their home. |
