Show County youth selected for YCC prcgrora Nine Beaver County youths were selected Tuesday for enrollment in the Fishlake National Forest's YouthCon- . servation Camp. The winners' win-ners' names, taken from applications ap-plications for employment, were drawn by Beaver Ranger Ran-ger District Clerk, Donna Morris at the Beaver Ranger District Office. The youths will start work on June 20 and terminate August 12. The eight -week, non-residential Camp will give the enrollees the opportunity op-portunity to develop work skills, to learn about conservation conser-vation and to become aware of their environment. The Corpsment will work print) pri-nt) arily on the Beaver Ranger District with the possibility of working on a project on one of the Forest's other Districts. The selectees includeCur-tis includeCur-tis Baxter, Milford; andSteve Bartlett, Jacie Carter, M ike Fuller, Derrick Giroux, Karlton Moss, Juliann Spencer, Lynn Spencer and Kathy Stoker, all of Beaver. Owen Spencer was selected as the alternate. In all, 36 youths from Beaver, Millard, Sevier and Wayne Counties have been selected to participate par-ticipate in this summer's YCC Program hosted by the Fishlake National Forest. |
