Show MDLF(r Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Treat and four children of Plains , Kansas spent several sev-eral days last week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Mar-ion M. Treet. Visitors of Mrs. Theresa Pitchforth in Milford were Mrs. Paul M. Crosby, and two children, Steven Jr. and Nancy, from Ft. Worth, Texas. They spent the weekend week-end and left for St. George Tuesday. Her grandson, Paul, is being transferred with the airforce. Bill Schow, son of Jake Schow, who is in the U. S. Navy in Hawaii, is enjoying a 30 day furlough. While on furlough he visited his sis -ter, Elane, inSanFrancisco, Mike and Boyd in Salt Lake City , his mother in Cedar C ity, and Alan, Pam and his father in Milford. He will be returning soon to duty in the Navy in Hawaii. A group of family and friends met the train Sunday, Sun-day, June 12 at 4 p.m. to welcome Shirley W. Nichols as he made his last run for the Union Pacific Railroad after 40 years service as a Conductor and Brakeman. That evening a large group of friends were served icecream ice-cream and cake, at the Nicr hols residence. Sharon and Heather Shore of Salt Lake City are at her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Nichols, home visit ing Other family members visiting were Shirl, Dianne, and four boys of Cedar City. Phone calls from Max, Rodnie and Blain were also received in honor of Shirley's retirement. Recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ham p Burke were two neices, Mrs. Elise Brougham and infant son of Wheat Ridge, Colo, and her sister, Sophia McMillen of Honolulu, Hawaii. The ladies flew from Denver to Cedar City. While here they visited visit-ed the Kauffman's at Black -rock and enjoyed a delicious steak dinner on Rosealee C ook's spacious patio. Mr. and Mrs. Oakley Nelson Nel-son of Long Beach, California Califor-nia are visiting her father, Mr. Joe Tribole, and plan to enjoy some fishing in the Beaver Mountains. Bonnie Easton and Wanda Munk visited relatives in Price and Helper this past week. They Teturned home by way of Provo, where they enjoyed a short visit with Richard Easton. |
