The Milford Historical Society and the Beaver County Dominguez Escalante Committee Com-mittee are anxiously working to secure the matching funds necessary. They have selected a site on the Historical Park on Library Hill for the erection of the marker. As Information on these markers was not available at the time the Bicentennial projects we re selected, it Is proving very difficult to obtain the matching funds of $4100 necessary to match the two -thirds cost committment of the state Historical Society, and the Bicentennial Commission. The Milford Historical Society members are planning a house-to-house canvass this next week, to all those desiring to contribute. They will also have for sale an interesting booklet entitled "In Behalf of the Lieht."
