Her granddaughter, Tammy Thomas, and a girl friend, Kathleen McGuivey, both of Orem are here. Mrs. Helen Jean Simpkins of Reno, Nev. has been with her mother, Virginia Gillins, for several weeks. Mrs. Bob (Ileen) Rollins and son Jeffery of Bountiful visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. LovellCrane, last week. They left Marie and Julie to keep grandma and grandpa Crane from getting lonesome. lone-some. The Mitch Fishers have been busy vacationing this month. They went to Idaho Falls to a Terry family reunion, re-union, that was held just a week before the big flood I Visiting at the home of ' Mr. and Mrs. Peter S. Mar- 1 tin is their daughter, Janice Jones and children of Salt 1 Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bond have just returned home from their trip to Nampa, Idaho where they attended the blessing of their fourth great-grandchild, Jeremy Edwards. He is the son of Shelly and Lee Titus and the J at Rexburg. They visited all Beth's brothers and sisters in the Idaho Falls area and then they spent some time with their daughter and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Judy of Ammon, Idaho and got to see their new granddaughter, grand-daughter, Merlnda, who is two months old. Bart Fisher, wife Peggy and son Garry, and Shelly, Robb and his fiancee, fi-ancee, Rhonda Kruger, also made the trip with them.- Beth, Mitch and Shelly Fisher, Mrs. Bart Fisher, Peggy and son drove to Woodland, Wood-land, Calif, for the graduation gradua-tion of the Fisher's grandson, grand-son, John Fisher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Fisher. They also visited their son, Jan and family. Mitch baptized bap-tized Mike's son, Nici, while there. They visited Mitch's brothers, Vance and Hal, at Woodland. Then on to Oakland, Oak-land, Calif, to visit Ray Fisher Fish-er and family. While there they rode the Bay area rapid transit system and took a tour by ferry boat to Alca-traz Alca-traz Prison. They also visited vis-ited Norman Fisher at Marysville. They brought two of Mike's children, Nici and Curtis, and Jan's son, Allen, home with them for a visit. Tim Fisher visited with his parents and brothers and sisters this weekend. He lives in Pioche, Nev. His wife and children are visiting visit-ing her parents in Louisanna. Robb Fisher and his fiance, Rhonda Kruger, both of Pro-vo, Pro-vo, visited over the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mitch Fisher. Robb is employed at the BYU Press. Mrs. Amanda Hansen is tour of the area after a meeting of the Commit Beaver. Isabelle Cox is in North Bend, Oregon visiting her son and family, Dr.andMrs. W. W. Cox. She went for her grandson's, Roger, graduation. grad-uation. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mar-croft, Mar-croft, sportscaster for KUTV-2, was here for the talent show, Saturday, and spent Sunday with the Herb Coon family and the Norman Palce, Brenda, j01. They also visited the Milford Art Guild's Tea and Art exhibit. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Jensen were in Idaho last week helping help-ing his brother, wife and fam -ily, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jensen Jen-sen of Rexburg, who were victims of the flood there. They and another brother of Dale's took a load of food up to their brother and the Jensen's Jen-sen's brought back the five sons of his brother's to stay with them until the family can get another home to live in. Quite an addition to the Jensen family. They will be busy this summer, I'm sure, and his brother and wife were thankful for their help. Colleen Fotheringham has been visiting her uncle and aunt, Wally and Vickie Fotheringham. Foth-eringham. Colleen is the daughter of Farrel and Dorothy of Woodland, Calif. Two returned LDS missionaries mis-sionaries were the adult speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing in the 2nd Ward Sunday evening. They were Larry Bradshaw, who filled a mission mis-sion to Java, Indonesia, and Cliff Myers, who filled his mission in Illinois -Iowa area. Their experiences .were very interesting and faith Inspiring. They are both from the Beaver, Utah area. Mrs. Duane Yardley was in Salt Lake June 8th to attend her daughter, Evelyn McCulley's high school graduation. Max and Iona Baxter spent three days In Calif, visiting their families. In San Deigo they attended a baseball game with the New York Mets and the San Diego Padres, with Janell, HalSm ith and sons, Brad and Greg. They were there for Brads graduation from high school. In Northridge a family dinner din-ner was held at Arlene and Earl Roses home withDarryl |
