Mrs. Debbie Hutchlngs and children of Price visited her parents, Wayne , and Merle Gilllns, for a few days. Donald Charles was home for a few days from his job In Henderson, Nev. visiting his family. Tuesday evening Ruben and Emily Dotson and daughter daugh-ter Jolyn, also Bryce and Jeanne Gale and Nick and Colleen Dotson of Beaver, all drove to Parowan for supper sup-per at the Swiss Village; the occasion being the birthdays of Ruben, Nick and Colleen. Marshall and Nellie Hol-lingshead Hol-lingshead and family were In Salt Lake over the weekend week-end visiting Doug and Mada-lyn Mada-lyn Nielson. Grant and Blanche Pryor visited for a few days In Cedar Ce-dar City with Elolse Mur-dock Mur-dock and In St. George with Pat Williams. Lyla Truman was home from BYU over the weekend visiting her parents, Karl and Phyllis Truman. Clarence and Bernice Gilllns Gil-llns were in Salt Lake for a few days during the week on business. Doug ami Elma Blackburn traveled to Mantl Friday to attend a session at the Temple. Tem-ple. They also witnessed the marriage and sealing of their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Rus-sell (Jackie) Muir and family fam-ily of Denver, Colo. Clark and Mary Gilllns and Wendy were In Kanab last Sunday to visit Richard and Diane Glllins and family. They also attended church to witness the naming of their little grandson. He was blessed and named Robert Keith by his father. Clinton and Verna Thomp- son attended the funeral of Homer Carter in Thomas, Idaho on Tuesday. Then they stayed in Salt Lake to enjoy Thanksgiving with their children and to witness the naming of their great -granddaughter. They returned home late Sunday evening. The American Legion Auxiliary held their annual Christmas party Wednesday evening. Their husbands were guests. Ham, salads, hot rolls, and Pineapple Delight De-light were served to the crowd present. Lola Roberts and Jane Gressman went to Salt Lake Monday to attend the funeral services for the mother of their brother-in-law, Cecil James. Sunday dinner guests of Floyd and Beulah Wood were. Grant took Mr. Thomas Thom-as on a sight -seeing tour of our mountains and he was really impressed with them, having lived in the East all his life.
