Hostesses Wilna Swain and Nora Wright served delicious deli-cious salad and fresh vegetables vege-tables to the following; Ethel Smith, Lenora Finch, Neva Kenross, Dora Johnson, Dora Smithson, Lillian At-kin, At-kin, and Flossie Rickerson. VFW RECEIVES SURPRISE VISITATION The VFW Auxiliary to Post 1546 was surprised Tuesday night by a visitation from District Sr. Vice President Pres-ident Threasa Marie Pace and Jr. Vice President Helen Michael, both from St. George, Utah, thinking the regular meeting would be Tuesday, Sept. 10, as usual. A quick meeting was called call-ed at the home of President Ethel Smith, including Lillian Lil-lian Atkin, Dora Smithson, Wilna Swain, and President f Ethel J3mith. Both ladies . brought many Interesting schedules for the year and went over reports. Their next visitation will be in the spring. VFW Aux Meets VFW Auxiliary to Post 1546 held their regular meeting at the home of Wilna Swain, Monday Sept. 9th. President Ethel Smith conducted a short business meeting. Minutes of the previous pre-vious meeting were read and approved and the treasurer's report accepted. A donation was sent to the Milford Me -morial Hospital in memory of Susan Glenn. The Auxiliary Auxil-iary went through the ritual ceremony for draping the charter for Sister Susan Glenn . , . A motion made by Neva:' Kenross that we put the date ' of our auxiliary meeting orT the Band Calendar was seconded sec-onded by Bertha Cottrell. A letter was read from our department president that |
