JtWiar-liitrB .J Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Gcodliffe 'BANKS-GOODLIFFE NUPTIALS REPORTED Miss Lenora Marie Banks, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Garthe Banks and Mr. Donald LeRoy Goodliffe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Goodliffe of Brigham City were united in marriage by Rev. J. H. Valine, O. P., in a double-ring ceremony ceremo-ny at St. Bridget's Catholic Church at 12:00 noon on September Sep-tember 12. Miss Banks was lovely in a princess-styled gown, fashioned by her mother, of delustered white satin with front panel of l'C-avy white Irish lace. The finger-length sleeves and skirt with self-train were edged with Irish lace medallions. She wore a shoulder length white illusion veil fasted with white satin, bow K. Walker III of Milford. Ceremony Cere-mony organist was Mrs. Wallace Wal-lace Fotheringham. Mrs. Goodliffe, mother of the groom, wore an ensemble of vanilla colored summer wool, while the bride's mother chose a honey-colored bonded wool dress. Both mothers had corsages cor-sages of coral rose buds. Mr. and Mrs. Banks entertained enter-tained the wedding party and guests at a buffet luncheon at their home immediately following follow-ing the ceremony. An open house honoring the young couple coup-le was also held in the bride's parent's yard in the evening. Mrs. Gale V. Banks, Mrs. Don Elmer, Mrs. John C. Hanley, Mrs. Delmar Kirk, Mrs. Gilbert McGinn, Mrs. Forrest Miller, Mrs. Warren Johnson, Mis. Theodore The-odore Rimpau, Mrs. John H. set with seed pearls, and carried car-ried her rosary and white prayer pray-er book marked with satin streamers and sweet peas. The prayer bock was a First Communion Com-munion gift from her grandmother. grand-mother. The bride was attended by Mrs. Dennis (Janet Ann Root) Moore of Provo and Mrs. Rich-crd Rich-crd Mitchell of Salt Lake City. They were attired in floor length, princess-styled gowns of moss green mirra mist over crtpe, with headpieces of moss green veiling caught with crepe bows, and each carried a long-stemmed long-stemmed red American Beauty rose. Mr. LeRay S. Mitchell of Dallas, Dal-las, Texas, and u.ncle of the groom acted as best man. Ushers Ush-ers were Rodney L. Goodliffe, Brigham City, brother of the groom; Garthe R. Banks, brother broth-er of the bride; Richard L. Root of Provo, and James B. Rimpau, Thomas D. McGinn, and John Walker Jr., and Mrs. David Garret of Salt Lake City presided pre-sided alternately over the lunch eon table and the tea table in the evening. Miss Sharlene Wellington Wel-lington of Salt Lake City presided pre-sided over the guest book on both occasions, while Mrs. Thomas V. McCarthy, Mrs. Ronald Ron-ald Bailey, Miss Mary Ann Lep-pink, Lep-pink, Miss Janet Stoddard and Miss Nedra Wunderlich assisted assis-ted with serving. Misses Shauna Banks, Gina Banks and Kelly Miller and Master Timothy Mil-lei Mil-lei took care of the gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Goodliffe, parents par-ents of the groom, honored the couple at a reception at the Golf and Country Club in Brigham Brig-ham City on the following evening, eve-ning, September 13. The couple are honeymooning in San Francisco, Honolulu, Hawaii and various places along the California coast before returning re-turning to Salt Lake City to resume their studies at the Uni- |
