Show BULLETIN The Utah Supreme Court, in a decision handed down late Wednesday, upheld Beaver Bea-ver County in their refusal to re-zone as commercial area lands bordering the 1-15 and 1-80 junction at Cove Fort. The Court's opinion stated the two oil companies seeking seek-ing re-zoning of the land "purchased lands zoned as grazing land and then sought re-zoning . . . the County Commissioners did not act capriciously or unreasonably in refusing to re-zone the land," and also held that the profits accruing to the oil companies if the land were re-zoned would be taken from established businesses in other areas. |
