Jv't "- 1 The Sinjing King Cousins TELERAMA WILL BE FINAL DIMES EVENT Milford's Marching Mothers visited homes of local residents resi-dents last Monday evening, and received "generous" 'contributions 'con-tributions to the March of ' Dimes, according to Mrs. Sally Rose, West Beaver County : chairman. i Any persons not contacted may phone Mrs. Rose, and a volunteer worker will call, or contributions may ba made during the Telerama on Sun-! Sun-! day, Mrs. Rose said. Final event of the 1969 March of Dimes will be the Telerama, February 1 and 2, on KSL-TV, Channel 12 in M:lford. Featured will be the King Sisters, and an added fea tur w;!l be the King Cousins, fv'rti-r -in-;p' rroTj" During the Telerama, telephone tele-phone operators will be in the studio to take March of Dimes pledges by telephone, with the staff and entertainers working from 10:30 p. m. Saturday, Feb. 1, through until 5 p. m. Sunday, Sun-day, Feb. 2. In Milford, perrons wishing wish-ing to make Telerama contributions contri-butions may phone 387-2881, The Beaver County News office, and a member of the B?aver County Sheriffs Jeep Patrol will call at the residence resi-dence to pick up the contribution contri-bution and telephone the amount to Telerama Headquarters, Head-quarters, where it will be credited to the West Beaver County total. Mrs. Daisy Gillins, Miners-ville Miners-ville Dimes Chairman, reported that the Marching Mothers' made their calls at homes, and the response was "very gratifying." grati-fying." Mrs. Gillins also expressed pleasure at the generosity of Minersville citizens in dropping drop-ping odd coins in the contribution contribu-tion cannisters placed in the business houses. |
