Show THIS AND i THAT - - WITH PAT Holiday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tomsik were their son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Anderson and four children; a son, Eddie Tomsik, and daughter daugh-ter Pamela, also a brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Poison and three children chil-dren of Granger, Wyo. Linda Murie, CSU student, spent the holidays in Milford with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Murie, and visited friends in Salt Lake and Tooele. On New Years Mrs. Murie and four children were in Enterprise visiting her father, fath-er, Ernest Pickering, and her three brothers. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Mayer and daughter Sandra spent most of the holiday vacation in Riverside, Calif., with their son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Pauls, and Mrs. Mayer's mother, Mrs. Ruth Weishaar, and also attended the wedding of a niece in Shaffer, Shaf-fer, Calif. Their son Mel returned re-turned with the Mayers and stayed until Sunday, when he returned to resume his studies at Loma Linda University. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pipher and seven daughters have moved back to Milford from Twin Falls, Idaho. They are living in the former Lily Roberts Rob-erts home in Minersville. Another An-other daughter, Carol, stayed in Twin Falls. Wayne Sieloff is in Denver, Colo., seeking employment. Mrs. Clotiel Gould returned to her home in Salt Lake after spending several days here visiting her children and having hav-ing a medical checkup. Mrs. Billie Osborne of Bur-bank Bur-bank spent Tuesday here visiting visit-ing relatives and friends while her husband Glenn was working work-ing at his obsidian mine nortn of Black Rock. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tucker of Moore Park, Calif., have returned to their home after spending a week with thier son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Alden Johnson. The Tuckers were accompanied home by a granddaughter, Sandra Furr, who had been visiting her parents, Mr. and ' Mrs. Johnson. Mrs. Naomi Hughes has been confined to her home for the past three weeks with a heart ailment., A granddaughter, granddaugh-ter, Kathy Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Johnson, cared for Mrs. Hughes during the holidays and another granddaughter, Melanie, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Wal-lace Hughes, is now here. Relatives calling at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jones during the holidays in- j eluded Mr. and Mrs. James Nielson and Dr. and Mrs. 1 Richard Valentine and daughter daugh-ter Susan, all of Riverside, ; Calif., and Tommy and Peggy Rowe of Caliente. Mrs. Georgia Allen, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Baxter, has purchased a lot at 403 West 400 North, and plans to move to Milford and build a house on the lot. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Gillins returned Dec. 31 after spending spend-ing a week with their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Gillins, in Dayton, Ore. Mrs. Altheda Gale is expected ex-pected home after a week's visit with her son and daughter daugh-ter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gale, in Springville. Mrs. Alice Alvey and daughter daugh-ter Mrs. Catholine Winter and two children were here visiting vis-iting Mrs. Alvey's brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan Munk. Bill and Judy Preale of Ogden Og-den spent the week at the home of his father, Jim Jones. Mrs. Preale is the former Judy Jones and they were married Dec. 17. Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Mcln-tyre Mcln-tyre spent the Christmas holidays holi-days in Salt Lake with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mclntyre. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baxtep have returned from California after spending three weeks visiting vis-iting their children. Recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Prod-zinski Prod-zinski were his brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Schwartz and four children of Jamestown, No. Dakota. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Prod-zinski Prod-zinski were in Salt Lake on New Years visiting relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stonehocker, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stonehocker Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Boranski. Father Valine spent New Years Day in Las Vegas. New Years Eve and overnight over-night guests of Mr. and Mrs. Kimmel Coon were Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hickman of Beaver. They enjoyed turkey dinner and plenty of football on New Years Day. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Koch were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd B. Hansen and son Douglas of Richfield, Mrs. Rosalie Cook, Mrs. Ro-zetta Ro-zetta Hanley. The Hansens returned re-turned home that evening. Mr. and Mrs. Albert B. Smith and three children of San Diego, Calif., spent last week end at the home of his mother, Mrs. Ethel Smith, and on Saturday another son and family, Mrs. and Mrs. John Smith and three children of Cedar City joined the Smiths in Milford. Mrs. Ethel Smith was hostess at a Chinese dinner din-ner at the Hong Kong Cafe late Saturday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Tait, their son Doug and daughter Karen, and Ailene Corey spent Sunday at Enterprise and Gun-lock Gun-lock visiting relatives of the Taits. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jefferson Jef-ferson entertained at their home on New Year's Eve, celebrating cel-ebrating their sixth wedding anniversary. Mr. Jefferson's mother, Mrs. Grace Jefferson of Salt Lake, attended the affair. af-fair. Mrs. Richard Jefferson served a buffet dinner. Mr, and Mrs. Warren Atkin have returned from Hunter where they spent two weeks visiting their children. On Christmas Day 16 family mem- . bers were entertained at the home of their son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Duard Nay, and on Dec. 29 Mr. and Mrs. Max Williams entertained at a birthday observance for Mr. Atkin. Lynn and Elaine Hatch of Salt Lake also joined the group on Dec. 29. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bird and children Rick and Todd spent the holidays in California, Califor-nia, visiting their son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Barry Bird and children in North Hollywood, also their daughter Shelley, and Mrs. Bird's mother and sister in. Alhambra. Holiday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Vee Waddoups were their sons in law and daughters, Don and Lola Mae Penfield and children of Scottsdale, Ariz. Don and Angie Lindsey and children of Dugway, and Vernon Ver-non and Carlie Gronning and children of Las Vegas, also Mrs. Waddoups' sister, Mrs Angie Church of St. George |
