Show SENATOR MOSS VISITS MILFORD Senator Frank E. Moss visited visit-ed Milford last Tuesday as one stop in a whirlwind threeday campaign tour which covered nine Utah counties. Included were stops at St. George, Cedar City, Delta, and Nephi, and Wednesday and Thursday stops were made at Payson, Provo, Orem, American Fork, Richfield, Rich-field, Ephraim and Price. The Utah Democrat said the purpose of the trip was to visit party officials thruout the state and speak on behalf of the entire Democratic ticket. In Milford, Senator Moss said: "The momentum is building for the Democratic ticket nationally. na-tionally. The polls show Vice President Humphrey is steadily stead-ily and rapidly gaining on Mr. Nixon, and I want to get this message to every part of the state. "This same momentum is beginning be-ginning to take hold in Utah, but a lot of work must be done in the last days of the campaign. I want to encourage encour-age the party members to get the job accomplished." Milford was a "lunch stop" for the Senator's party, which included his son and Dale 2a-briskie, 2a-briskie, press aide. In other communities he addressed several sev-eral high school groups. |
