Canyon. I Thirty-two descendants of ' Mrs. Vida Spencer of Salt Lake gathered at Lehman Caves Sunday to celebrate her 80th birth anniversary. Attending At-tending from here were her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Mathews, and granddaughters Lee and Leola Gillins and children. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Gillins of Salt Lake spent Sunday night at the home of his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Mathews. Nancy Albrecht, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Albrecht of Conga Island, and Richard Judd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Le-Roy Le-Roy Judd of Kanab, will be united in marriage June 29th in the Manti Temple. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Albrecht will represent rep-resent Nancy's parents, who will be unable to attend. Karl and Phyllis Truman, Fay and Betty Marshall, Jeff and June Marshall, Mrs. Effie Marshall, Mrs. Eleanor Marshall, Mar-shall, Howard and Gertrude Marshall, and Mrs. Aldene Jones of South Milford were in Cedar City Monday evening to celebrate the birth anniversary anniver-sary of June, Walt and Barbara Bar-bara Messinger. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Banks and children of Salt Lake spent last week end here. Leland and Evelyn Banks were recently in Las Vegas to help a friend, Linda O'Dell, celebrate her birth anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roberts have moved from Van Nuys, Calif., to Boise, Idaho. Carol Marshall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vance Marshall, and Richard Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Victor Smith of Beaver, will be married in Minersville June 28. Viola Lunt Rose has been, transferred to the University Medical Center in Salt Lake for skin grafting. She was severely se-verely burned in a fire Tuesday Tues-day of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Pa-chico Pa-chico and daughter of California Cali-fornia were here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wood. Mr. Pachico is in the U. S. Air Force. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Limb and family are in Minersville for the summer. Scott Jameson, son of Mrs. Lorraine Jameson of Las Vegas, is visiting his grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Jameson. Sim and Eloise Murdock of Cedar City visited the Howard Pryors and other friends and relatives Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Arshal Evans are caring for a 2 year old grandchild, Tommie, while his parents, Mr .and Mrs. Alfred Morin of Salt Lake are vacationing vaca-tioning in Michigan. Recent Minersville visitors were Mr. and Mrs. David Myers My-ers and children and Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Myers of Colton, Calif. Alba Carter is in Encino, Calif., to attend the wedding of a granddaughter, Sherrie Gressman. Russell and Kevin Giles of Henderson, Nev., are visiting their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thompson, and Shelly Rae and Rosemary Reynolds Rey-nolds of Salt Lake are spending spend-ing two weeks with their grandparents. |
