Show 4-II ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM PLANNED FOR WEDNESDAY Everyone is invited to attend the assembly, which will be held in the high school auditorium. National 4-H Club Week was held the first week in October. Beaver County will hold the 4-H Club Achievement Program at the Minersville LDS Church 'at 7 :30 p. m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18. Special awards will be given to members at this pro-gram, pro-gram, as well as pins and certificates of J fr completion for 4-H Club members and eadeis. The public is invited to attend. ijitTN Eeaver County had 260 4-H Club members enrolled this year with projects proj-ects in Beef, Sheep, Range Management, Horses, Forestry, Foods, Clothing, Home Improvement, and Knitting. Many ether projects are available to 4-H members. Nationally there are nearly three million 4-II Club members, and 50 nations have similar programs. 4-H enrollment in Utah was 18,700 this year. The fall enrollment period is now on for 4-H Club members who wish to take winter projects. Anyone who cares to enroll should contact the U S U Exten-tion Exten-tion Office in the basement of the Federal Building (post office) in Beaver, or a 4-H Club leader in your community. |
