Show spent the hollctays in Milford end returned Tuesday to his schooling at Dixie College. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Rodgers o La Puente, Calir., visited last week with Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gillins, Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Bingham, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Gillins and Mrs. Thelma Gillins and family. They were here to attend the wedding of Louise Gillins and Bob Mc-Knight. Mc-Knight. e Mrs. Bertha Cottrell spent Christmas in Salt Lake with her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Cottrell. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Bartlett of Salt Lake spent pait of the holidays with her mother, Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Ruth. 9 Mrs. Dora Johnson returned Tuesday after spending the holidays hol-idays with her children in the northern part of the state. 6 Mr. and Mrs. Bert Merry-weather Merry-weather and their son in law and daughter, John and Linda Baldwin, left after Christmas to spend a week with the Mer-ry Mer-ry weathers' son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Merryweather in Mojave, Cal. 9 Lloyce and Mel Mayer, children chil-dren of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Mayer,, were home over the holidays. Lloyce is a student of Union College, Lincoln, Neb., and Mel is a student at La Sierra College, Riverside, Calif. Overnight guests at the Lloyd Mayer home were Donna Snipes, Marcia Berry and Bill Jones, all students of Union College, Lincoln, Neb. They and Lloyce Mayer all left Tuesday to return to college. Mel Mayer spent the week THIS AND THAT -- WITH PAT Mr. and Mrs. Bob Mustian and family spent the New Year holidays with parents in Grand Junction, Colo. Mr. Mustain is the Baptist minister, and is employed at Jefferson's. Darcy and Becky Winn, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Winn, spent four days cf the holidays in Lomita, Calif., with their brother in law and sister, Jesse and Jo-lene Jo-lene Cervantes. They were accompanied ac-companied back by their grandmother, grand-mother, Edith Bradfield of Minersville Min-ersville ,who had been visiting the Cervantes. O Mr. and Mrs. Frank Carter of Minersville were Tuesday visitors at the home of her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Winn. Mr. Carter, who has been in a Salt Lake hospital with a broken back, was receiving re-ceiving treatment here. visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan K. Munk. Airman Munk has been assigned to a two month advanced medical training course at Brooks Air Force Base, San Antonio, Tex. His wife and children will remain re-main with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marcine Davis, in Minersville. 9 Mr. and Mrs .George Cluff of St. G:orge visited their son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Lund, over the Christmas holidays, and last Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Lund and children attended a family get-together get-together in Beaver with Mr. and Mrs. Hal Lund and Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Lund, brothers of Lamar. 3 Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Collier Col-lier of Kaysville, former Mil-ford Mil-ford residents, called on old friends here on New Years. $ A sister and sister in law of Mrs. Dorothy Kizer arrived in Milford to spend several days with Dorothy and Ray. The two ladies are Mrs. Doris Larson and Mrs. L. E. Boone I of Oroville, Calif. 9 On New Years Day the parents par-ents of Mrs. Clark (Verge) Mrs Rae Wright and son Brian of Downey Calif ,-r here for the holidays at the home of her parents. Mr. ana Mrs. Clinton Bond. 9 David Wright, son oC Mr and Mrs. Robert L. Wright, has been admitted to the Primary Pri-mary Hospital in Salt Lake for change of a cast and treatment. David was injured in an auto-bicvcle auto-bicvcle accident last August, and is recovering nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Wright plan to go up to visit him this week end. Ollie Thomas left for Lena, Miss., Christmas morning after receiving word that his father bid passed away. He plans to stay in Lena for two weeks. At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wright for the holidays were Mrs. Wright's mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Foyer Olsen and daughter Joyce of Cedar City. On Tuesday Mrs. Wright's sister sis-ter and brother in law, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Matheson, also of Cedar City, called at the Wright home. O Mrs. Beth Fisher left Tuesday Tues-day morning for Rexburg, Idaho, after receiving word that her sister, Mrs. Jean Barnes, was seriously ill. 9 Holiday visitors at the home of Mayor and Mrs. Ira Fisher were their daughter and family, fam-ily, Douglas and Terry Judy and three children of Idaho falls. Idaho. Tracy Baxter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Baxter, was taken to Salt Lake Dec. 20 for foot surgery and change of a cast. She was injured last August 6 in an auto-bicycle accident. ac-cident. Tracy has now returned re-turned home and is attending school. e Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bar ton and daughter Phyllis met their family in Boulder City at the home of Leslie and Pat Barton for a family get-together. Calif., arrived in Milford Mil-ford Tusday. After an enjoyable enjoy-able visit with friends and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kimmtl Coon, she returned home Jan. 1st. Sam and Alta Hickman of Beaver spent the New Year's week end at the home of Mildred Mil-dred and Kimmel Coon. At the home of Oren Puffer for the holidays were his daughter, Mrs. Bob (Nell) God-dard, God-dard, Mrs. Elwood (Pat) Nils-son Nils-son and Nannette, all of Las Vegas. O Mr. and Mrs. Robert Davis spent Christmas with their children in Las Vegas, Mr. and Mrs. Tommie Bradfield and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Davis and family. During Dur-ing New Years Mr. and Mrs. Bradfield and family came here to be with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Davis, and on Jan. 3 Mr. and Mrs. Robert Davis Jr. and family called in Milford at the home of his parents, after aft-er visiting her parents in Holden. Q Mr. and Mrs. V. W. Spain-hower Spain-hower spent Christmas week at the home of their grandaugh-ter, grandaugh-ter, Janice and Larry Groff, at LaHabra, Calif. Also visiting was their son George (Duane) and granddaughter S a n d e Spainhower. The group visited vis-ited a niece of the Spalnhow-ers, Spalnhow-ers, Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Mu-zingo, Mu-zingo, at Escondido, Calif. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Gary Bingham spent the Christmas holidays at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floren Bingham. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Willis Rodgers of LaPuente, Calif., were house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Floren Bingham and other brothers and sisters. They attended the wedding and reception of their niece and nephow, Mr. and Mrs. Bob McKnight. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Puffer entertained the family of Mr. Puffer on Dec. 26th. A turkey dinner was served in the early evening and again after the Gold Medal Tourney basketball games. 9 At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Leppink was their son Linus, who is stationed at the Oak Harbor, Wash., Naval Base. He visited home from Dec. 21 to Jan. 3. Also visiting visit-ing the Leppinks were Mr. Leppink's sister, Mrs. Leland Crutchfield of Newcastle, Colo., and Miss Karen Padgett of Dixon, 111. 9 Clark and Linda Souvini and Bill James of Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Alden Hardy of Magna were holiday callers at the home of the girls' parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Williams. Wil-liams. , Nate and Patsy Smith and son of Ogden were in Milford during the New Year holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd White and three children returned to their home in Canoga Park, Calif., after a two-week visit at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank White. . Airman 1c Donald M. Munk and family of Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., are here Goodwin, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Briggs, and a brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Alton Briggs, all of Beaver, were at the Goodwin home. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Joe- Jackson and family spent the New Year holidays with parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Ott in St. George and Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Jackson at Fillmore. O Mrs. Grace Sanders ' of Salt Lake is visiting her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Howard How-ard Lund. 9 Mrs. Katherine Forgie of Los Angeles, Calif., returned to her home after spending Christmas and New Years with her brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Smithson. 9 Joe and Jessie (Myers) Harrington Har-rington and son .Shane of Bountiful made several calls on Milford friends, New Years Day.
