But the wonderful people of Milford have made it a lot easier for me. I have received many Christmas cards and packages, and news from Milford Mil-ford townspeople. - I have seen many interesting places and met a lot of people tut nowhere I have been or the people I have met are as close or friendly as the people of Milford. You let us, who are serving our country, know that we are missed and loved and it means a lot to us. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the cards and packages. You are all in my heart and mind. May God bless and keep you Ell. Royal Denny Wright. Dear Alva: Steve Williams sent me a copy of the Christmas message which you have baen sending to the boys in service and a tear sheet from the Dec. 15 issue of The Beaver County News. You, Commander Swain, and all of the Milford Legionnaires Legion-naires are certainly to be congratulated con-gratulated on a very well-planned well-planned program. I particularly like the approach ap-proach that you have used in the letter. I am sure that you will get an excellent response from these. As usual, Steve did his first-class job in the editorial, but there certainly would not have been editorial material if you Legionnaires had not been doing a job. Please extend my best wishes for a most successful New Year to everyone. It's nice hearing from one of my favorite favor-ite posts. J. Lloyd Wignall. Dear Steve: We, the undersigned, wish to inform your readers that the Teen Age New Years Eve party was sponsored, strictly and solely, by ourselves. We must also add, that The American Legion offered any support and assistance assist-ance that we might need. The young people attending expressed their appreciation for this endeavor (with words of thanks and praise and by exemplary ex-emplary conduct. Much of the credit for a very successful affair goes to the teen agers themselves, and to the above mentioned people and organizations. Our sincere thanks to all.
