Show TIGERS DOWN REDHEN 13-12 The Milford Tigers staged a thrilling last-ditch last-minute last-minute goal line stand last Friday to eke out a 13-12 win over the Cedar City Red:nen, for their second win in two years and their only two wins in history over the Redmen. With only a couple of minutes to play, Milford held Cedar and forced a punting situation. Doug Tait missed the punt and Cedar recovered on the Tier 20. The Red- man defense tightened up in the last half, and Milford mixed their plays with sweeps and passes as well as plunges. Cedar scored first on a pass from Blaine Johnson to Glade Heyborne for 30 yards and a TD. The kick for extra point was good, but called back for illegal procedure in the back-field back-field and their second attempt was wide of the mark. The Tigers made it 7-6 when Greg McGinn romped 15 yards for the TD and Turner bucked for the extra point. Still in the first quarter, Doug galloped 50 yards around left end for a marker, and the pass for extra point was incomplete. incom-plete.
