Mr. and Mrs. ; Harry Hessel-gesser Hessel-gesser spent the Memorial Day week end in Ely. Drwight Co-Lal Co-Lal of Lincoln, Nebr., was a recent house guest at the Hes-selgesser Hes-selgesser home. ' Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Gon-der Gon-der and family of Lakeview, Oregon, are here visiting relatives rel-atives and friends. Mrs. Heddy ; Kaufman is speeding four dayb in Ely. Assistant As-sistant postmistress Vanda Baker Ba-ker is running the post office during Mrs. Kaufman's absence Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cal-derwood Cal-derwood left Friday for Alaska. Alas-ka. They plan to drive the Elcan Highway and spend six weeks touring Canada and Alaska. Duane Daniels, recent heart attack victim, was released June 3 from the hospital in Las Vegas. The Baker school held a picnic last Friday at Lehman Caves picnic grounds. e Mrs. Andrew Terry and her granddaughter, Karen, from Provo, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. O. Merlin Terry. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Jordan returned from Denio last Friday. Fri-day. Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Brumb-ley Brumb-ley and Bill Brumbley, all of Salt Lake, visited Mrs. Lillian Brumbley last week end. Miss Nae Richardson and girl friend of Las Vegas spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Bud Richardson in Garrison. Gar-rison. Mr. and Mrs. Merle Olsen and family of Tooele visited friends and relatives in Snake Valley Sunday. Jay George suffered a back injury on the Lehman Creek road job last Saturday, and was taken to Ely for medical care. C Well, the neighbors' cows have finally taken over the I town again this spring and have certainly made a shambles sham-bles of everyone's lawns and gardens. There is a county ordinance prohibiting this sort of thing but evidently the owners are unaware of this. |
