Show THIS AND THAT - - WITH PAT Frank John Grimes, son of Frank Grimes of Bountiful and Virginia Grimes of Milford, has received a four-year Navy scholarship from the University Universi-ty of Utah, where he finished his sophomore year this spring. On July 1st he will enter pilot training in Corpus Christi, Texas. Mrs. Virginia Young spent the Memorial holidays in May-field May-field and Ephraim with relatives, rela-tives, and was accompanied home by her daughter, Thea, who has been attending Snow College. 0 Mr. and Mrs. Rue Nielsen have returned after spending two weeks in Salt Lake, where Mr. Nielsen underwent major Surgery. Harold and Sandra Pedersen and three children of Salt Lake were recent visitors at the home of her mother, Mrs. Dora Johnson. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Grii-iiths Grii-iiths are in Salt Lake with their children, and Mrs. Griffiths Grif-fiths will receive medical attention. at-tention. C Mrs. Agnes Clements of Salt Lake is her visiting her son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Clements, and enjoying en-joying the fishing. Friday Mrs. Devorah Robinson, sister of Mrs. Steve Clements, and Mrs. ' Robinson's grandchildren, will , arrive from Salt Lake for a few days visit. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Howard M. Stoddard have moved into the rental home of Marian Walker, from South Milford. e Mr. and Mrs. Rick Berger will occupy the rental home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hol-lis Hol-lis after their marriage planned plan-ned for June 17th. i Mr. and Mrs. Don Hunt are employed at Pufffer Lodge for the summer, by Bob and Marge Schramm. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Nielson and two daughters have moved to Milford. Mrs. Nielson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Jones. Mr. Nielson will be employed at Jefferson's as a furnace installation and repair re-pair man. They are living irj. the Basil Rollins home west of town. e Week end house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cline were Mr. Cline's brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. Abe Cline of Salt Lake. They were en route to Los Angeles. Also at the Cline home were their niece and fiance, Christine Madsen and Larry K. Michael- crly Palmer of Las Vegas. This week Mr. and Mrs. John Weston are spending a few days with grandsons Gary and Allen and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Weston in Salt Lake and Bountiful. , ) Ted and Loli (Lamb) Bridge have moved to Milford from Salt Lake. Mr. Bridge is employed em-ployed at the B & J Club. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Baker and two children of Green River Wyo., and Mr. Baker's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Baker, Ba-ker, enjoyed a trip to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, Glen Canyon and Page, Ariz., the Petrified Forest and other scenic points of interest, returning re-turning Saturday evening. Lorrin Hutchings is employed em-ployed in Richfield in the meat department of a grocery store. 9 Kalvin and Tommis Hollis, children of Mr. and Mrs. Delos Hollis of La Mirada, Calif., stayed with grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hollis while -their parents were in Tooele attending funeral services for Valerie Thompson. Mrs. Allene Jefferson has returned re-turned from Salt Lake where she was with her husband, El-wood, El-wood, while he underwent open heart surgery. Elwood is recuperating satisfactorily, and is expected home early next week. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bock-woldt Bock-woldt and two sons of Layton and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth sen. Relatives visiting Mr. and Mrs. Hal Norton were Mr. Norton's Nor-ton's brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Norton of Idaho Falls, and their son in law and daughter, Robert and ReNee Christmas and son Robert Jr. of Los Angeles, where Mr. Christmas is an Instructor In-structor at the University of Southern California. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Adams and two children of New Mexico Mex-ico have been here visiting her parents, Mr, and Mrs. Lorrin Hutchings, and attended funeral funer-al services In Cedar City for 8 relative. While there their child suffered severe cuts and was confined to the hospital. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. John Weston and Mr. and Mrs. Powell Smyth were the ladies' niece and family, Mr. and Mrs. Don Carson and two friends, of Las Vegas, and "also at the Weston home were grandsons Mr. and Mrs. Gary Weston and Allen Weston of Salt Lake, nd their daughter Mri. Bev- Hollis enjoyed a successful fishing trip to Panguitch Lake last week end. Mr. and Mrs. Don Heath and children Pearlene, Debra Ann and baby Charles, have returned re-turned from a 10-day vacation trip which included visits with his mother, Mrs Mae Heath of Amity, Ore.; and a family re- union in Sparks, Nev., at the home of his father, Roy Heath. Mrs. Mae Heath also attended the reunion. Frank and Linda (Vernon) Hatch and children Babs and Frank of Provo spent a few days at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Vernon. Garth and Carol Penney have moved to Barstow, Calif., where they will both teach school this fall. Briscoe arrived in Milford from Germany, to visit his parents Mr. and Mrs. Ben Briscoe, before benig assigned as-signed to duty in Viet Nam. Mrs. Claudia Peterson and Mrs. Val Waters, both of Las will be employed. Mrs. Phyllis Luedtke of Whittier, Calif., came to Milford Mil-ford especially to be with her sister, Mrs. Ethel Killam, on her 80th birthday, June 7th. 9 Mrs. Janice Barnes and three children of Salt Lake and Jimmy Jim-my Skillicorn, who is in military mili-tary service, arrived in Milford after learning that their father, fath-er, Alvin Skillicorn, had suffered suf-fered a heart attack. Mr. Skillicorn is showing-some improvement, im-provement, and the two will leave this week end for their homes. Mrs. RusseU (Ranae) McGinn Mc-Ginn and baby Athena, who have been In Germany with her husband, have returned to the United States and are now with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Hutchingson in Kanosh. Mrs. Elaine Swindlehurst of Boulder City, Nev., Is here caring car-ing for her mother, Mrs. Ann Blackner of Greenville, who has been seriously ill, and visiting vis-iting her father in law, Arnold Swindlehurst in Milford. Paul McGinn has been in Troy, N. Y., attending a special school in abrasives. He was in Cedar City to receive his diploma di-ploma at the CSU gradution and will arrive this week end tc visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gil McGinn, before re- cian. Mrs. LaRue Stewart and children Arthur David, Doug and Mary, and Betsy Yardley are spending a week at Chal-lis, Chal-lis, Idaho, with Mrs. Stewart's brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. David Blackner. Mr. and Mrs. Powell Smyth are visiting their son and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Nell Smyth, in Woodland Hills, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. James E. Moore and daughter Linda motored to Salt Lake over the week end to attend baccalaureate services serv-ices and commencement exercises exer-cises of Westminster College. Their daughter Marilyn Loss graduated with a bachelor of science degree. O Fred D. Quails, son of Mrs. Keith Leany, spent a week visiting vis-iting at the Leany home and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Zeal Norton. He is with the U S Coast Guard stationed at Norfolk, Va. He drove to Richfield Rich-field accompanied by Judy Thompson and Deanna Walker to visit Judy's brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. David Potter, and friends Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kelsey. A Bruce Mayer, son of Mr. and Mrs; Gene Mayer, a student at the U of U, has been elected secretary of the 1866-67 Pre-Law Pre-Law Association. He is now in Milford for the summer.
