Rachel and Irma Eyre and Lettie Gibson are out to their cabin at Cottonwood getting it ready for the deer hunt. Gladys Myers and Lola Bohn and grandsons were in Stocks ton Sunday to attend an open house for their sister Clara Evans on her 80th birthday. They drove up with Gold and Margaret Eyre of Cedar City. Sunday dinner guests at the home of Raul and Dixie Pearson Pear-son were their parents Mervin and Ethel Baker and Gaylon and Penny Baker of Caliente. Also Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Mc-Knelly Mc-Knelly and family and then-uncle then-uncle and aunt of Olivehurst, Calif. Newell and Vera Carter spent the weekend in Salt Lake visiting John and Vickie Carter. Cart-er. Overnight visitors during the week at the home of Ileen Jameson was her grandson, Eruce Limb, and a friend. Jim and Ileen Craw, Linda and Spence Eyre, Don and Iva-dell Iva-dell Hutchinson, Jim and Margaret Mar-garet Ann Williams, Keith and Marsha Dalton, Billy Dalton and Arnold Willyard all went Elk hunting over the weekend. They came home with six Elk. Saturday .night dinner guests at Howard and Gwen Pryor's were Don and Corinne Yardley and Phyllis Price and Zeke Hickman. The Literary Club held their regular meeting Wednesday at the home of June Pearson. The book report was given by Ef-fie Ef-fie Marshall. Afterwards shrimp burgers and punch was served to the members present by hostesses June Pearson and Gwen Pryor. Gwen Prycr, Pauline Wood, and Daisy Gillins attended the VFW meeting in Milford on Tuesday evening. Theodore and Melva Eyre, Las Vegas, visited the past week with relatives here. They stayed at the home of Bill and Lettie Gibson. Vivian Marshall, Ella Wood and Horace Corbridge attended the funeral of Wilda Corbridge in Trona, Calif, on Wednesday. Delbert and Effie Jameson fre visiting in parts of Colo. They went with Grant Wood. Visiting at the home of Ar- tnd family, Orem, spent the weekend visiting relatives here. In a write-up In the Deseret News on Friday, Mitch Gillins was chosen as the football player cf the week. He is a quarterback on the Beaver High squad. Margie Marshall was home from Dixie College over the weekend. Also home from Cedar Ce-dar City was Kathy Gillins, Doris Hollingshead and Tonya Carter. Canasta was held at the homo of Vie Marshall Monday evening. even-ing. Prizes went to Edith Marshall, Mar-shall, Florence Wood, and Donna Don-na Carter. Others there were Marie ' Gillins, Jean Carter, Pam McMullin and Lynnea Marshall. A birthday party was held Monday night in Cedar City at the home of Walt and Barbara Messinger in honor of Walt, Eleanor Marshall and Phyllis Truman. A delicious meal was served to the brothers and sisters sis-ters and their families. Tod McMullin is celebrating his 8th birthday Monday with a party for all his friends, he is the son of Jack and Pam McMullin. Mc-Mullin. Noel and Dorothy Wood were in Salt Lake during the week getting material for their home that they are remodeling. Daisel and Wilma Davis motored mo-tored to Payson Sunday to take their mother Cloe Davis for a weeks visit with Bernell and Velma McAffee. Kent and Mary Fae Marshall have gone to Salt Lake for a short trip to take their children chil-dren to the zoo. Mi.nersville Ward Conference was held Sunday with all the Stake officers in attendance for Sunday school, the officers and teachers meeting at 4:30, end also at the sacrament meeting in the evening. Guardell and LaRue Banks and Russell were in Salt Lake during the week Visiting their daughter there. Bishop and Mrs. Earl Limb motored to the Manti Temple on Friday to witness the mar-raige mar-raige of Wayne Warby and Sandra Murdock.
