Show This Week in MINERSVILLE as reported by GWEN PRYOR Karen Carter and daughter Diane of Seattle, Wash., are visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sheral Carter. A bridal shower honoring Beth Dotson was held last week at the home of Marilyn Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Corbridge and family of California are vacationing here with relatives and friends. Visiting at the Delmar Gray home the past week were Mr. and Mrs. Burnell Lamb and children and Kay Lamb of Henderson, Nev.; and Mr. and Mrs. I. H. Lamb of St. George. A birthday party honoring Julie Hollingshead, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hollingshead, Hollings-head, and Duke Hollingshead, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Hollingshead, was held Monday evening at Julie's home. Both youngsters were 12 years old. Becky Thompson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Thompson, Thomp-son, enjoyed her birthday last week with a swimming party. Pam Marshall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tex Marshall, also enjoyed her birth date with a party last week. Hilton Gillins was honored at a family dinner observing his birthday on Friday, July 17. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gillins, Clarence Clar-ence Gillins, Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Eyre nad Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Eyre. Mr. and Mrs. Ray , Gillins and children of northern Utah visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jule Gillins. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Hollingshead over the week end were Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bushman, Bruce and Laurel, of Las Vegas. Mrs. Ray Crane and daughters daugh-ters and Kathy Banks, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Banks of Salt Lake, are visiting vis-iting Mrs. Armina Banks. Mrs. Dixie (Goff) Hardy and sons, of Las Vegas are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Goff. Blake Marshall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Marshall, suffered suf-fered a broken foot this week when the horse he was riding fell oh him. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Munk and son of California and Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Thomas and children of Salt Lake visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mart Davis, over the week end. Bob Griffiths, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Edwards, is now serving with the National Guard at Fort Ord, Calif. Steven Gillins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gillins; Roger Marshall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tex Marshall, and Allen Wood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Wood, all enjoyed their fifth birthdays with a joint party on July 21st. All their small playmates celebrated with them. Jack Craw suffered an ulcer attack last week and is now a patient at the Beaver County Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Roberts, Mrs. CoraLee Anderson and children of Oregon are visiting their children, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Marshall, and their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Hayward Continued on Back Page and Mrs. Royal Wood. Ward Dotson has returned from a two week vacation trip to Moab, where he visited a brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Dotson. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Gillins and children vacationed last week in Salt Lake, Honeyville, and other northern Utah cities. A wedding reception honoring honor-ing Neil and Beth (Dotson) Ashworth was held Friday in the Minersville LDS recreation hall.
