Show JEEP PATROL HAS 33 TROPHIES FOR WINNERS IN ANNUAL BOAT RACES Thirty-three attractive trophies are all ready for winners win-ners in the third annual Beaver County Jeep Patrol Boat Races, scheduled for Father's Day, June 14, on the Min- ersville Reservoir. R. H. "Babe" Ruth, Jeep patrol pa-trol captain, said first, second and third place trophies will be awarded in each of the 11 classes. Qualifying heats will be run before the race for the trophies, and in addition to the trophies, each contestant will receive a special "boat owners' lunch" courtesy of the Jeep Patrol, Mr. Ruth said. Racing will start promptly at 12 noon and continue until all 33 races have been completed. com-pleted. Refreshments, cold drinks and food will be available at concession con-cession stands thruout the day, and loudspeakers will keep spectators up to the minute on all activities. |
