Show THIS WEEK IH MINERS V1LLE P.-T. A. SCHEDULES OPENING SOCIAL The Minersville P.-T. A. will hold their first meeting of the year as a social, Oct. 9 at 8 p. m. in the Elementary School Building. Bryce Draper, county superintendent, super-intendent, will speak. A program pro-gram and refreshments have been arranged by the officers, Mrs. Bernice Ashley, president; Mrs. Gwen Pryor, vice president, presi-dent, and Mrs. Virginia Carter, secretary. The Minersville History Book material has been turned over to The Beaver County News for printing, and it is expected the delivery deliv-ery will be made by Dec. 15. Miss Judith Bauer and Mr. Frank Limb were married Friday, Fri-day, Sept. 22, in Los Angeles, and are now at home at 35 Stocker Place, Los Angeles. Balerie Wood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Noel Wood, celebrated cele-brated her fourth birthday last Saturday. A party was given in her honor. Audrey Marshall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vance Marshall, Mar-shall, was honored at a party observing her seventh birthday last Tuesday. Mr. Limb is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Limb of Ely, Nev., and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pryor of Minersville. Min-ersville. American Legion Auxiliary members attending the Fall Conference in Cedar City last Saturday included Mrs. Pauline Paul-ine Wood, president; Mrs. Emily Em-ily Gillins, secretary; Mrs. Daisy Gillins and Mrs. Effie Marshall. Mrs. Ora Fotheringham is now in Spanish Fork with her daughter, Martha, helping care for a sick grandchild. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Evans and family of St. George have been visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arshal Evans. Wells Banks, who at present is working for the U P in Salt Lake, was home with his family fam-ily over the week end. The Minersville Relief Society So-ciety held their fall opening social Tuesday, Oct. 2, in the Relief Society hall. Luncheon was served at noon, after which a program and games were enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. Jule Gillins attended LDS Conference in Salt Lake and also visited their children while there. Mr. and Mrs. John Williams were in Richfield last week to get their winter coal. Mr. and Mrs. Daisel Davis and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Davis have been out west building a cabin. They plan to have it completed for the deer hunt. |
