Show 'Friday the Thirteenth' Will be Lucky Day for MHS Homecomers By the MHS Journalism Class On Friday, Oct. 13, the Milford Tigers will play the Hurricane gridsters in the annual MHS Homecoming Game. The game is scheduled sched-uled for 1:30 p.m., and is the opening event of a full day of activities. Adult admission is 75c, students stu-dents will be admitted on activity ac-tivity cards. For those who don't have time to eat before attending the game, coffee, hot dogs and other refreshments will be sold by the FHA girls. Other events of the day include in-clude the Freshman Assembly, Lettermen's Club Dance, and Crowning of the Homecoming Queen. At 11:30 the Freshman Assembly As-sembly will be held in the Milford Mil-ford High auditorium. Admission Admis-sion will be free and visitors, townspeople, and especially MHS Alumni are cordially invited in-vited to attend. At the conclusion con-clusion of this assembly the Homecoming Queen will be crowned, and she will rule over all activties for the remainder re-mainder of the day. Candidates, chosen by the Lettermen's Club, are: Elaine Gillins, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Gillins. Born Sept. 25, 1944, in Milford. Likes to cheer, bowl, dance, and swim. Dislikes "doing nothing." Has been A - team cheerleader for two years. Connie Marshall, 17, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Clauss Marshall. Connie was born in Milford on Sept. 24, 1944. She is one of the four Milford A-team A-team cheerleaders, and she lists cheering, dancing, and playing Softball among her favorite pastimes. Karen Thompson, 15 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ward P. Thompson, was born Nov. 16, 1945. Karen is an A-team cheerleader, and lists cheering, bowling, swimming, softball and dancing among her favorite favor-ite pastimes. Linda Williams, 17 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Les-ter Williams, was born in Milford Mil-ford Dec. 4, 1943. Linda says that illustrating and dancing are the activities she likes best. Also on Oct. 13 the high school will hold a Visitors' Day. This is your chance to find out what goes on during an average day at M H S. So come on, Alumni, if we have a large enough turnout, Mr. Hughes and Mr. Long may forget for-get to give us our homework assignments! The Lettermen's Club Dance and Floor Show is scheduled to begin at 10 p. m.
