Show PERSONALS Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hughes are calling on their children and families, Capt. and Mrs. Nolan Hughes at Nellis Air Force Base; Lt. Col. and Mrs. Maurice Johnson at Oceanside, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Wal-lace Hughes in Portland, Ore. Mrs. Wallace Hughes has been seriously ill. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Keetch were in Colorado and Wyoming Wyo-ming on vacation. In Denver they called on Mr. and Mrs. Bruno Maffei, former Milford residents. Mrs. Maffei is a sister of Mrs. Verle Horton. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Rogers of Tucson, Ariz., were in Milford for two days at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rogers, en route on a vacation trip to California. Mr. and Mrs, George F. Me-gill Me-gill and baby of Minnesota are newcomers to Milford. Mr .Megill is a new employe and two children of Chicago were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hampton Burke. Mr. Meyer is an exchange professor profes-sor at the University of Illinois, Illi-nois, and will be at the College Col-lege in Santa Barbara, Calif., for the summer. Mrs. Meyer is a cousin of Mrs. Burke and of L. G. Clay. Dinner was served Wednesday evening at the Burke home for the Meyers, Mrs. R. T. Dodds of Idaho Falls, and three children, also Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Clay and grandson John Clay of Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Hal Mecham and family of Bountiful were here visiting his brother, Max. Bryce Clay Anderson, son of Attorney and Mrs. David F. Anderson of San Francisco, and John Leslie Clay, son of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Clay of Logan, are vacationing in Milford, Mil-ford, guests of grandparents Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Clay. Side trips have been planned to Puffer Lake and Lehman's Cave. l. t !i T TT V MII'TO of the A T & T. They will live in the rental home ot Mrs. Dora Pool, formerly occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Hardy. Mr. and Mrs. Armon Whiting Whit-ing were in Salt Lake last week. Mrs. Whiting underwent major surgery in the L D S Hospital. She is recuperating satisfactorily. Mr. Whiting has returned to Milford. Mrs. James Jarvis and two children of Denver, Colo., have joined Mr. Jarvis in Milford. Mr. Jarvis is a new employe at the AT&T. They are living liv-ing in the Nate Smith home on North 400 West. Ladies cleaning and preparing prepar-ing the Methodist parsonage for the new minister and his wife, Rev. and Mrs. Lynn Holmes, included Mrs. Peggy Muzny, Mrs. Joan Long, Mrs. Charlotte Wise, Mrs. Lois Peterson and Mrs. Amie Culver. Cul-ver. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Powell Smyth last week end were their son Neil and fiance, Miss Melanie Bower, Bow-er, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Bower and children chil-dren of Woodland Hills, Calif. Mrs. Ada Ann Wulfenstein and 11 month old baby of St. George visited friends over the week end. She was a house guest of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Schow. Guest of Mrs. W". G. White over the week end was Mrs. R. A. Pratt of Los Angeles. This is Mrs. Pratt's first visit to Utah since she left here 23 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Meyer |
