Mrs. Angus Clements of Salt Lake has been in Milford at the home of her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Clements. The group motored to Richfield over the week end and Mrs. Clements remained to visit a daughter. She returned to Milford for another stay before be-fore leaving for her home. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Briscoe are taking care of their grandson, grand-son, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Briscoe of Ely . Mrs. Sonny Briscoe is ill. Albert Raines has been readmitted re-admitted to the Beaver County Coun-ty Hospital, for rest and observation. ob-servation. Mrs. Margie Mecham returned re-turned from Redding, Calif., after visiting a friend there. t Mr. and Mrs. Dick Davis have a new baby, born June 13 in the Iron County Hospital. Hos-pital. This is the fourth child for the couple. Mr. Davis is contract mail carrier between be-tween Milford and Richfield. t Lillian Johnson of Spring-ville Spring-ville is in Milford with her mother, Mrs. Maude Stoker, a.t the home of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Stoker. Mrs. Stoker recently re-cently suffered a stroke! Mr. and Mrs. Owen Stoker have returned from a vacation trip to Oakland, Calif. Calling on the Ivan Rowleys Row-leys were their son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Darvell Fielding of Roy. While here Mrs. Fielding became ill and was admitted to the Beaver County Hospital, where she remained re-mained for two weeks. Other visitors of the Rowley's were Mrs. Rowley's brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Erick Ogren of Altadena, Cal. They all left for their homes this week. Visiting her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Ashworth, is Miss Anne Myers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. K. E. Myers of Cedar City. Mrs. Marva Connell is spending a week in Eureka, Calif., with a brother and sister sis-ter in law. Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Hardy have vacated the house they were living in and Mrs. Hardy and baby will stay with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Thompson, until Mr. Hardy finds employment. Mr. and Mrs. Robert McLean and two children and Larry McLean of Salt Lake, who presented the Indian dances Saturday evening in the Elementary Ele-mentary school, were house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Slinkerd. Dennis Slinkerd accompanied ac-companied the McLean's to their home for a few days' visit. Miss Julia Hendrickson has returned home after spending two months with a sister and family, John and Kathy Stacer, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Billie, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Stacer, returned with Julia and will visit his grandparetns in Milford, Mr. and Mrs. William Hendrickson. Milford folks attending the Shrine Convention in Salt-Lake Salt-Lake last week end included Mr. and Mrs. Alfred M. Bealer, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Lang, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cline, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cline, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R. Murdock, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Mayer, Bert Wynaught, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Freeman of Beaver. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Forsythe and children of Las Vegas are expected in Milford. They will be house guests of friends Mr. and Mrs. Gene Mayer. Terry Fisher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Fisher, has accepted employment with the Phillips Oil Co. near Idaho Falls, Idaho. Mike Fisher is working at a Grand Central Market in Salt Lake. |
