Fotheringham, his heirs, personal per-sonal representatives, executors, execu-tors, administrators and assigns, as-signs, and to all to whom it may concern; You are hereby notified that I have expended between July 1 1958 and September 1, I960, and for the assessment years terminating at twelve o'clock noon, September 1, 1960 sixteen six-teen hundred dollars in labor and improvements upon the Gleana, Gleana Nos. 1 to 5 inclusive, New Deal and New Deal No. 1, being eight unpatented unpat-ented lode mining claims situated situ-ated in Granite Mining District Dis-trict of Beaver County, Utah, in order to hold the said claims under the Federal Statutory Provisions concerning annual labor upon mining claims, and being the amount required to hold the said lode mining claims for the period ending on the 1st day of September, 1960. That the entire amount has been spent on the Gleana lode mining claim, by the digging of several trenches or open cuts thereon, each of said cuts being be-ing approximately ten feet in depth and approximately ten feet in width, with the removal remov-al each of said assessment years of approximately eight hundred cubic yards of earth and rocks; and also by the repair re-pair of a road leading to the said claims for the purpose of ingress and egress. That the said labor and improvements im-provements was done and expended ex-pended for the benefit of the eight lode mining claims above described; and for the development devel-opment of, and as means of developing and having a direct di-rect tendency to develop each of the said claims; and that an undivided one-eighth part of the said sum of $1600.00 was |
