MARYSVALE The Mighty Milford Tigers flashed past the stunned Marys-vale Marys-vale Bulldogs for the first victory vic-tory of the season for MHS. Mil ford led all the way in the action packed game. Points were scored by: Briscoe 3, Dalton 11, Wadsworth 9, Marshall Mar-shall 10, Baxter 7, Edwards 4, Berger 8, Weston 2, and Bacon 1. Donald Munk, student at the CSU, underwent an appendectomy Wednesday morning in the Beaver Bea-ver County Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. S. E. STUDENT COUNCIL DANCE "Victory" was the theme of the Student Council Dance Saturday after the "mighty Milford Tigers" Ti-gers" triumphed over the Marys-vale Marys-vale Bulldogs. A good selection of records supplied the music, danced to by a large crowd. School favorites were announced announc-ed and introduced to the student body. The dance was a big success and enjoyed by all. 4 CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS A When you enter the halls at MHS there is a treat awaiting you. They have all been decorated deco-rated to the theme of Christmas. The decorations look very splendid with the decorating that has been done to help promote the spirit of Christmas. The Student Stu-dent Council deserves a pat on their backs for the fine work they have done in promoting the spirit of Christmas at M H S. SEMINARY DANCE 1 j The Seminary held a dance Thursday, Dec. 8, from 8 to 10: The Jokers Combo furnished the music. It was decorated to the theme of "Sno Ball." The money received from the dance will go toward the new Seminary building. build-ing. CHRISTMAS CARD SALE This year the Milford Seminary Semi-nary has been selling Christmas Cards and paper to raise money for the new Seminary building. Each year at the Seminary Dance prizes are given to those who sell the most cards. It was divided into two sections, the senior ' and junior divisions. - In the senior division Kay Root won the prize by selling arou'1 $34.
