Show Personal Mention Myron Vest plans to spend the Christmas holidays in Salt Lake with a son Cornell and family, and a son in law and daughter Mr. and Mrs Carlyle Gronning. ' Mr. Vest has been in Faust, Utah at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lovell. Mr. and Mrs. B. T. Johnson and new son of Provo and Mrs. Harry Garfield arrived in Milford Mil-ford Sunday. Mrs. Garfield had been in Provo since Nov. 20 waiting for the arrival of a new baby, which was born Dec 2, weighing 7 lbs 3 oz. Mr. Johnson has left for California where he is now working and Mrs. Johnson John-son will stay in Milford for a while before joining him. Mr. Garfield also was in Provo between be-tween his U P trips. Mrs. Wes Bolton has been in Salt Lake shopping and visiting a brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. John Burr. Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Schnacken-burg Schnacken-burg plan to spend the Christmas Christ-mas holidays in Santa Monica, Calif., with a son and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Edens. The Lady Lions will meet for their December meeting at the home of Mrs. Loretta Cline on Wednesday, Dec. 21. A dinner will be served with Mrs. Nelda Memmott and Mrs. Charlotte Wise assisting. Afterward the ladies will sack candy for the Community Christmas stockings 9 Milford residents attending the annual B of L E Honor Club banquet and party Saturday evening eve-ning in Salt Lake will be Mr. and Mrs. John J. Schnackenberg. Mr. Schnackenberg will be one of 20 members who retired during dur-ing the past year, who will be honored. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Colburn and Mrs. Wanda Holm of Milford and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Os-car Stephenson of Cedar City also will attend the affair.. 0 The Rebekahs will have their ( Christmas party Wednesday, Dec. 21, in the I O O F Hall. The Milford Medical staff and their partners will have their annual Christmas party Saturday evening at the home of Dr. and Mrs. D. A. Symond. The Milford Lions will have their annual stag party Saturday evening at the Hong Kong Cafe. John Wilcock Jr. is serving an LDS Mission in New Mexico. His address is General Delivery, Lordsburg, New Mexico. Mr. and Mrs. John Wilcock and daughter Judy will spend, Christmas Christ-mas Day in Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Griffiths and daughters. Mr. and Mrs. Luis Jimenez left Tuesday to spend a month in Mexico, but due to car trouble returned to Milford to get their car repaired. They left Wednesday Wednes-day for their trip. In Mexico they will be guests at the homes . of brothers and sisters. This is the Jimenez' first trip to their native country in 30 years. The Second Ward Mutual will hold their annual Christmas party Monday evening, Dec. 19th. Mrs. Hazel Baxter will leave Saturday for Rawlins, Wyo., to visit her brother in law and sister, sis-ter, Mr. and Mrs. William Boyce. Mrs. Gertrude Zink of Salt -Lake is here visiting her sister, Mrs. Jim Smithson. Mr. and Mrs. Art Williams of Dos Palos, Calif., were in Milford Wednesday at the home of their son, Mr. and Mrs. DeWayne Williams, Wil-liams, en route to Ogden where they will visit a son in law and daughter, Hank and Alice Wright. Harold Vernon has been released re-leased from the Beaver County Hospital and is at home recuperating recuper-ating from a major operation. O Linda Vernon, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Vernon, and a BYU student, will appear on Christmas Day on KSL-TV Channel 5, with the College Dance Revue. 9 Mrs. David Coleman and Mr. and Mrs. Randall Banks of Minersville Min-ersville have just returned from Dragerton where they visited other daughters of Mrs. Banks, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hellinger and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Hollinger and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Frandsen. o Mrs. Lillian Atkin and father, D. A. Tanner, are in Ogden for a short visit with Mr. Tanner's daughter and Mrs. Atkin's sister. Bert O'Leary has been released from a Provo hospital, recuperating recuperat-ing from pneumonia. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Hillman are now living in Boise, Idaho. Ben had been manager of the Ely, Nev., airport for several years. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Colburn will spend Christmas in Sunny-side Sunny-side with a son in law and daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Thurlow Van Campen. o Joe Lee, U S geologist w'ho has been here for the past summer, plans to leave next week for his home in California, |
