Show Minersville Services Scheduled for Jennie Carter Wilson Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Laurette Eyre Carter Wilson, 71, were scheduled for Thursday afternoon aft-ernoon in the Minersville LDS Chapel. Mrs. Wilson died Monday, Dec 7, in the Beaver County Hospital, after a lingering illness-. J She was born April 21, 1888, in Parowan, to John E. and Jane Ann Orton Eyre. She married Lester L. Carter in Beaver, June 9, 1910. He preceded her in death. She married George Wilson, Feb. 3, 1953. Mrs. Wilson had been a lifelong worker in the LDS Church, serving serv-ing as Relief Society president and was a Relief Society teacher at the time of her death. She had filled an LDS mission to California, and had been an ordinance worker in the St. George Temple. Surviving are her huband, of St. George; three sons, Authnell J. Carter, Midvale; Arlo Carter, and Clair Carter, both of Cedar City; four daughters, Mrs. Lillian Mc-Knight, Mc-Knight, Minersville; Mrs.. Mary Dorin Tanner, Salt Lake; Mrs. Barbara Ann Smith, Beaver, and Mrs. Enid Lue Johnson, Milford; a brother and a sister, Burdett Eyre, Trona, Calif., and Mrs. Laura Corbridge, Ridgecrest, Cal. |
