Show Trucker Sues Cow Owner After Collision on 91 The Beaver county courthouse has been the scene ot considerable extra activity this midweek with a ciul divisun jury case occupying the attention ot district court oli'i-cial.s, oli'i-cial.s, eight jurymen, the litigants, and their witnesses. Tne case is a suit for damages, brought by Orrin E. Hale, Salt Lake truck owner, against Albert T. Smith of Beaver. It is the outcome out-come of a truck-cow collision which took place December 4, 1958 on Highway 91 in the "Jackson County" area, south of Beaver. Trial of the case began Tuesday before Judge Will II. Hoyt of Ne-phi, Ne-phi, and is expected to be completed complet-ed Thursday. It was necessary to draw the names of 19 prospective jurymen before the necessary eight were selected. They are Owen W. Stoker, Stok-er, Frank W. Thompson, Harold T. Winn, Clyde Griffiths, and Monto Griffiths of Milford; Chloe E. Davis and Warren B. Hall of Min-ersville; Min-ersville; and Esther M. Harris of Beaver. |
