Show Diane Wilcock, James i Cox Exchange Vows in St. George Temple A beautiful wedding ceremony was performed in the St. George LDS Temple Saturday, Nov. 14th, uniting in marriage Miss Helen Diane Wilcock and James H. Cox. President Harold S. Snow officiated. officiat-ed. In attendance were the parents par-ents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Usher H. Wilcock, and parents of the bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam H. Cox; Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Collier, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Anderson, Ander-son, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Fisher, Mr. and Mrs. Don Alger, Mrs. Ross Lang, and Stake President Wallace D. Yardley of Beaver. Immediately after the wedding ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Cox were hosts at a dinner served in the dining room of Dick's Cafe. A reception was held the same evening in the Milford LDS Church honoring the newlyweds. The lovely bride appeared in a full length gown of lace and taffeta taf-feta fashioned and made by her mother. The neckline was scalloped scal-loped and the long pointed sleeves were trimmed with tiny buttons. The top was of lace with the taffeta taf-feta forming part of the bodice, which fell to ballerina length and was caught with satin bows giving it a princess style effect. A full gathered lace ruffle completed the full length skirt. The finger tip veil was caught to a princess crown trimmed with mother of pearl and rhinestones. She carried a white orchid surrounded, sur-rounded, with red roses and long stemmed white flowers formed the streamers. Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Miss Sandra Wilcock. She was gowned in a champagne satin semi formal ballerina length dress, also made by Mrs. Wilcock. She held a nosegay of light orange carnations. car-nations. The bridesmaids included Veda Cox, the bridegroom's sister; Margaret Mar-garet Whittaker, Kerrill Sue Rollins Rol-lins of Spanish Fork, and Judy Wilcock. They wore powder blue taffeta dresses fashioned after the maid of honor dress, and their nosegays were of carnations. The flower girl, Brenda Wilcock, also wore a powder blue taffeta dress. Acting as best man was Leland Board. Ushers were John D. Wilcock, Wil-cock, Richard Bolton, Richard Banks and Ralph Smith. Out of town relatives attending the reception included grandparents grandpar-ents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley 'Green; Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Gor-don Green and family, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Green and son, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Beeson, and Mr. and Mrs. Percy Beeson, all of Beaver; Bea-ver; Mr. and Mrs. Clark Gillins, Mr. and Mrs. Wells Banks of Min-ersville; Min-ersville; Mrs. Rose Hartley of Leeds; Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Wilcock cf Piovo; Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Wilcock of Payson; and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Western of Pocatello, Idaho. |
