Show Jean Eyre, James Edwards Marry In Minersville Miss Jean Eyre and James D. Edwards Ed-wards were united in marriage November No-vember 6 in uie Relief Society room of the Minersville ward LDS Church, Bishop Marshall Hollings-head Hollings-head officiating. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Eyre, Minersville, Miners-ville, who were hosts that evening at a reception in the Minersville ward recreation hall. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Edwards of Beaver are the parents of the bridegroom. The bride's gown, of tulle, with a lace top and overskirt coming to a peak at the waist, was floor length and featured a ruffled underskirt. The sleeves were shirred to set off the plain neckline. A rhinestone-and-pearl crown held her fingertip finger-tip veil and she carried an orchid, surrounded with white carnations, and with orchid streamers. Miss Jean Eyre, her sister, was maid of honor and wore pink nylon, ny-lon, ballerina length, featuring miniature ruffles. Bridesmaids were Penny Patterson, Leah Ruth Dalton, Kenna Lou Kelsey, Nancy Marshall, and Norma Davis; and they wore pastel-colored ballerina length formals and carried nosegays nose-gays of pink roses, surrounded by pink and white carnations. Ronald Edwards was best man. for his brother, and ushers were Robert Puffer, Mitchell Myers, David Heslington, Sterling Griffiths, Grif-fiths, and Kenneth Gressman. Mrs. Eyre, mother of the bride, was attired in blue wool, while Mrs. Edwards wore blue lace, with corsages cor-sages featuring red roses and carnations. car-nations. Mrs. Emily Gillins was master of ceremonies for the program at the reception, which featured music by Howard Lowe and company. Also included was a solo, "Hideaway," "Hide-away," by Jack Heppler, and a solo by Kay Anna Baldwin, both accompanied ac-companied by Cecilia Patterson; readings by Kay Terry and Mrs. Anna Rae Carter; a duet, "Devoted to You," by Gerald Myers and David Dav-id Pryor, acconlpanied by Larry Hollingshead; tap dance by Marsha Mar-sha Edwards, accompanied b y Mary Lou Bradshaw; a vocal duet, "Yours," by Nancy Roberts and Mrs. Viola Nowers, accompanied by Mrs. Janet Smith; and double trio selections by Jeannie Smith, Jane Fillmore, Vickie Griffiths, Linda Carter, and Kathryn Seaman, Sea-man, accompanied by Mrs. Mona Lowe. |
