Show Contractors Asked to Bid on U-21 Roadwork The State Road Commission of Utah, according to Elmo R. Morgan, Mor-gan, director of highways, has asked ask-ed for bids for new road construction construc-tion in Beaver county. The project is located on State Road 21 from Beaver southwesterly for IOV2 toward to-ward Minersville and Milford. Construction will consist of a bituminous bi-tuminous surfaced roadway and the construction of two-span concrete con-crete rigid frame structure, presumably pre-sumably spanning Beaver river. The work will relocate the highway high-way in the area of Adamsville, bypassing by-passing that community. A public hearing was held in Beaver on November 6 regarding the proposed pro-posed project. The project is to be completed in 150 working days. Total estimated cost of construction construc-tion will be $400,000. Bids will be opened at the State Capitol on Tuesday, July 7 at 2 p.m. The job will be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder after bids are checked by the State Road Commission. |
