Show Personal Mention Mr. and Mrs. Alex Hamilton of Salt Lake are spending a few days in Beaver and Milford. A. A. Morris was brought home from the Iron County Hospital Wednesday, after undergoing un-dergoing surgery last Friday. He is reported to be convalescing convalesc-ing satisfactorily. A daughter, Mrs. Vera Speakman of rill-more, rill-more, has been assisting Mrs. Morris. Mrs. Hannah Jones left Wednesday Wed-nesday for an indefinite visit with relatives in Magna and Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Hatch and family of Panguitch visited Mrs. Rebecca Orton Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Cox Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hutch-ings Hutch-ings and family of Provo spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hutchings. Mrs. Hazel Eyre is visiting her son, Donald Eyre, and family fam-ily in Nephi and Joe Eyre, who has been very ill and is now convalescing at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Garnetta Dot-son, Dot-son, in Mapleton.. Mr. and Mrs. Jess Cartwright received a film from Mr. and Mrs. Bob Gillies of Panama, showing the little daughter Terri Ann, who was born after they arrived in Panama last summer. They showed the film last Friday evening to members of the Cartwright family and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Gillies, grandparents of Terri Ann. Mrs. Virginia Ashworth, Mrs. Charles Watters, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Cartwright and Brent were in Cedar City Saturday to visit Fay Ashworth in the Iron County Hospital, and also visited vis-ited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Watters. Patrolman and Mrs. Bob Low and daughter Debbie of Monti-cello Monti-cello were in Beaver the early part of the week, packing the bakery equipment and moving out of the building. Neil Jensen has received a letter from Wells Murdock, in Phoenix, Ariz., stating that John W. Murdock is confined to the Veterans Hospital there for bone surgery. Henry Hess and Mr. and Mrs. John P. Barton Bar-ton former Beaver residents, have visited Mr. Murdock. Mrs. Milo Baker returned home last week end from Logan, Lo-gan, where she had been caring for her mother, Mrs. R. O. Larsen, Lar-sen, who was recuperating from pneumonia. Mr. and Mrs. Hy Lee and Mr. and Mrs. Burnett Swindlehurst spent several days in Salt Lake on business. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Stevenson of Cedar City and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Elliot of Milford visited Mrs. Otto Schwob Saturday. Otto Schwob has been a patient pa-tient in the Milford Hospital since last Thursday. Daniel D. Yardley, son of Mr. ancf Mrs. Ellis Yardley, graduated gradu-ated on Jan. 29 from recruit training at the Naval Training Center, San Diego, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Watts of Salt Lake spent some time with Mr. and Mrs. Emil Nowers recently, re-cently, en route home from a trip to Old Mexico. They also visited relatives in Minersville.. Attending the state board meeting of the Business and Professional Women's Club in Salt Lake Sunday were Anna Stark, Vilda Smith, Kate Joseph, Jo-seph, Lydia " Patterson and Vie Fotheringham. ' Mrs. Jane Law returned Tuesday from a two months stay in Honolulu, where she was the guest of her brother in law .and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Howard How-ard White. |
