Show i Beaver to Have Oiled ! Streets This Year More than half the streets in the City of Beaver will be oiled this year, it was announced at the regular meeting of the City Council Monday evening. It is planned to oil 8.4 miles of the 15'i miles of unpaved streets in the city, according to Brose Dalton, councilman in charge of streets. Heavily traveled streets given first priority in the oiling program pro-gram include all of Fourth West, Second West First West, Second East, Fourth East, Sixth East, the short street north of Fourth West, Fourth North, and Sixth North east of Main to the east cemetery gate, Fifth North west of Main, and Second North west of Main; also Center Cen-ter Street east of First East, Second Sec-ond South street, and First North street west of First West. The work will be contracted, Mr. Dalton said, and estimated cost is about $3 000 per mile. Councilman James Williams announced the heating plant for the swimming pool has been ordered and is expected to be installed by late April. However, How-ever, Mr. Williams said, the pool will not be opened until . after the close of school.
