Show Beaver Grads Feted by B P W The ladies of the Beaver Business Bus-iness and Professional Women's club were hosts at a candlelight tea honoring the graduates of Beaver High School, with their parents, faculty members, advisors ad-visors and school board members mem-bers as special guests. The party was held at the home of Pearl Thompson, who was joined in the receiving line by Flossie Johnson, Naomi Packard, Pack-ard, Lurena Burridge, Hazel Stapley, Maye Atkin and Karla Tattersall. The serving table was beautifully beau-tifully decorated with a white lace cloth, and blue and white flowers. Completing the picture pic-ture were two silver tea services serv-ices and silver and blue candle-abra. candle-abra. Presiding at the tea table were Marva Heppler, Annabelle Hales, Anna Stark and Alice Heslington, with Sharon Wads-worth, Wads-worth, Janet Carter and Jolene Lessing assisting. Parfait, cakes decorated in blue and white, and candy and nuts were served to the guests. Carnations were presented to each boy graduate, and miniature minia-ture vases to the girls. Music for the evening was beautifully played by Clara Carter at the piano and Linda Prince on the violin. |
