A book review will be given by Mrs. Joel P. Jensen. All members are invited. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Johnson visited with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth Olson of Midvale Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Norman T. Ja-cobsen Ja-cobsen just returned from a five day vacation to Reno, New A delightful Halloween party was given by Jeanette Pino at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Pino, for the sixth grade students at Copperton I grade school last Friday night. Decorations followed the Halloween Hallo-ween theme and delicious refreshments re-freshments were served. Besides Jeanette, others present were Linda Smernoff, Linda Long, Linda Brisk, Nancy Crelhn, Bonnie Bon-nie Harker, Montez Hansen, ' Marian Murano, Jerry Moore, Keith LaComb, Tommy Red- mord, Sammy Saltas, Russell Boulton, Peggy Blake, Pearl I Milner, Shirley Smith, David i Stocks and David Moore. Linda i Brisk and Marian Murano helped help-ed Jeanette with the decorations. A fun time was enjoyed by all. An executive meeting of the Copperton grade school P-TA was held at the home of Mrs. De-lana De-lana Long Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. reported Mrs. Ann Pino in charge of publicity. Mrs. Max-it; Max-it; Johnson, president, conducted the meeting. Others present were Mrs. Agnes Milner, Mrs. Alice Floros, Mrs. Marjorie Osoro, Mrs. Dora McDonald and Mrs. Norrene Smernoff. Light refresh ments were served. All Copperton grade school children attended the Halloween party held last Friday afternoon at the school starting at 1:00 pm. 'sponsored by the school's P-TA j room mothers according to Mrs. I Ann Pino, publicity chairman. Costumed youngsters paraded around the park after which dancing was enjoyed and re-j re-j freshments of doughnuts and I root beer were served. Thanks I also is given to several other I mothers of students who sent ; refreshments to the party, j Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cheever entertained at dinner Sunday for Mr. and Mrs. Jay Cheever and family of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Peterson and sons of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Zelma Peterson Pe-terson and son Ted of Lark. On Tuesday, November 10th, at 10:00 a.m., the Copperton Ward Relief Society would like to invite all the ladies of the ward to attend their monthly work day under direction of Mrs. Lucinda Olsen. There will be quilting, demonstration of glass etching, pencil textile painting, earrings to make and how to make stuffed monkeys and lot of Christmas ideas. Luncheon Lun-cheon will be served. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Griggs ar.d daughter of Midvale and Mrs. Arvil Armitstead of Sandy were dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Aimitstead. Mrs. Caroline Diederich visited visit-ed with Mrs. Charles Tate of Tooele last Wednesday. Audrey Ann Sumnicht, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Sumnicht, Sum-nicht, celebrated her 18th birthday birth-day Sunday evening at a lovely dinner party given for her by her grandmother, Mrs. Clara Mead of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. James Carrigan were Saturday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Carrigan of Midvale. Junior Red Cross held its annual an-nual conference at South high school last Saturday. Those attending at-tending from Bingham high school were Don Peterson, Brent Peterson, Jimmy Carrigan, Janell Ja-nell Hansen, Betty Lou Bailey and Louise Miller. o |
