Good grief, I didn't know the world really existed this early in the morning. Why, oh why, had I scheduled an early morning class when there was nothing I hated more than the sight of the sunrise? When I came to grips with my situation I realized I had to get up, NOW. I had to get ready for class. As I fell out of bed and crawled on my hands and knees through the cold hall into the bathroom, I felt confident college was for me. I am so lucky to be here. After all, this is summer and it was dead all an early morning class, so summer. People were here, but what can be expected? But not action. Students ran from tomorrow will be better, my class to class then went home, first class is at noon. There was nothing to stay for, and there is still not. It is not a wonder that CAB and ASWSC have a difficult time getting folks to attend their activities. Students are not used to finding entertainment here so they are not staying after hours for fun.
