Show May 17, 1977 Signpost Page 11 WSC PEMM club honors six Six students were honored at an annual awards banquet of the Weber State College PEMM Club in the WSC Union Skyroom restaurant. PEMM stands for physical education majors and minors. Awards recipients were Renae Albiston, female scholar; Roger Fisher, male scholar; Bonnie Gustaveson, female student teacher; Rodney Bockwoldt, male student teacher; Carol Stoker, female leader and Chuck Heward, male leader. Dr. Wallace K. Nalder, chairman of the WSC department of physical education, health and recreation, presided. Special guests were Dr. Reed K. Swenson, retired WSC athletic director, and Lynn Corbridge, assistant professor, and their wives, along with Mrs. Nalder. Elected new PEMM officers were Chuck Heward, president; LuRae (Squirt) Stanger, vice president; Val Gentry, treasurer; and Kevin Edwards, secretary. 1955 CHEVY Club Coupe 2 dr., post 425 horse 283, 4-speed, b.w. Gove shot a one over par 73 despite the stormy weather to defeat the rest of the field by four strokes. Former WSC Golfer Bob Bradbury tied for second place with a 77, while another Wildcat Golfer, Brad Stone, shot an 80. This weekend will feature two Big Sky Conference Championships.
