Starting time is noon. This annual track meet is being hosted by Utah State this year, and it features competition from ten intermountain area schools. These schools include Weber, Utah State, the University of Utah, Idaho State, Boise State, Montana State, Ricks, Eastern Utah, Southern Idaho, and Northwest Nazarene. Idaho State and the University of Utah will probably battle it out for possession of the team title in Saturday's meet, and it looks as if the Bengals will win it. Idaho State features a solid track team headed by :9.3 sprinter Carl Lawson and weightman Craig Byington. They also have two excellent hurdlers and a fleet of long-winded distance runners. The University of Utah is led by all-American distance runner Scott Bringhurst, who has already ran three miles in 13:30, and by sprinters Steve Odom and Brent Webster. Host Utah State boasts Mark Enyeart, a 46.3 440 yard dasher from Uintah High School, and two fine hurdlers. Weber State will enter the meet with its usual lineup. Dan Dean will have to outrun ISU's John Brooks and Jerald Jones tomorrow if he is to win both the mile and 880, while Al Yardley must beat out Utah's Bringhurst and ISU's Vince Capell if he is to capture first place in the 3-mile run. Flint Cunningham, Bob Hill, Ron LaFranchi and Todd Parker will be four other fine Weber thin-clads to watch in tomorrow's meet. jj IN THE MOUNTIANS IN YOUR I CfJ7 r Formery Voyageur Boots QAQue DOOTG MEN'S-WOAAEN'S SIZES 5 to 15 NARROW & WIDE WIDTHS ypiyj IN CONCERT 3 CD S3 a o C 3 a o CTQ 2 CO CD P.
